no. Normal people simply respect one another.

I know its a foreign concept

Yes- respect is truly an alien concept for our LIE-beral overlords! They tell us so very much crap and expect us to swallow it like it was sugar! The delusion is strong with LIE-berals!

Consider:

Here is an older article illustrating the twisted mind set of Toronto (RED) Star commissars with their Soviet Pravda style of “reporting”. With some comments of my own in brackets):

Homeless shelter crisis reveals unabashed attempt to legitimize inequality

Not having enough beds for the homeless is designed to keep property taxes down, argues Christopher Hume. It’s an example of rich thinking.

The City of Toronto and the federal government eventually agreed to open Moss Park Armoury just as Toronto was about to emerge from an extended life-threatening deep freeze, which put extra pressure on the shelter system for homeless people.

By Christopher HumeStar Columnist. Mon., Jan. 8, 2018

You get what you pay for, or, in Toronto’s case, what you don’t. The shelter crisis of recent weeks — or is it years? — has been a clear indication that whatever demands our political masters are prepared to make of us, helping the homeless survive a deep freeze isn’t among them.

(What an utterly disgraceful load of fresh from the back of the bull, ripe, steaming organic fertilizer! LIE-berals have been totally focussed for decades on the civil service union Hog gravy train! LIE-berals have run us massively into debt with their shameless Hog vote buying and mad spending schemes! LIE-berals emptied out the lunatic asylums decades ago as a so called civil rights move since some radicals felt it was unfair to force treatment on schizophrenics and others! That LIE-beral choice resulted in all manner of untreated ill people being dumped on the street! In addition the LIE-beral debt is an economy killing mess that ensures that many Cdns are just one small fiscal bump away from economic disaster! This is the LIE-beral result of spending all we have and mortgaging everything we own!)

(The REALLY SAD thing about all this job, debt and trade crap is that LIE-beral Jean Chretien CAMPAIGNED on a promise to KILL NAFTA if he was elected! And hey- HE WAS ELECTED and then that promise joined so many other LIE-BERAL promises at the the landfill!)

What this says about us is up for debate. But as the old adage has it; we get the leadership we deserve. This is a crucial point in any discussion about how we treat the poor in Toronto. As Councillor Gord Perks has said of the current shelter crisis, on Twitter, “This was predictable. It was predicted and not prevented. It was CHOSEN in order to keep taxes low. Low taxes mean threadbare services with no spare capacity.”

(Too bad Hume does not want to discuss logic and reality! That our education system is in the hands of wildly greedy HOGS! Over 75 percent of ALL Cdn jobs now require some post secondary education- with fully 25 percent of graduates defaulting on their costly student loans that were run up while LIE-berals and Hogs were treating them like cash cows to be milked!)

(One has only to look at the FIFTY PERCENT PAY RAISE DEMANDED by senior college and university staff a couple months before the June election! This display of GREED should clearly explain why LIE-berals lost so much support and NDPers gained- civil service union Hogs no longer believe LIE-beral promises and recognize their IOU`s are WORTHLESS! So Hog support went in hope and greed to NDP instead!)

If nothing else, this month’s extreme cold has revealed just how little spare capacity there is in Toronto’s ability to respond to such a crisis.

(Hume enjoys spouting nonsense! We have been INVADED by an army of illegals and LIE-berals want to pretend that the very SUDDEN 30 percent jump in use of homeless shelters is from CANADIANS suddenly being homeless in our- as LIE-berals so often trumpeted- “BOOMING ECONOMY”! If the economy is booming then why the spike in homeless people? If we can really afford to handle those tens of thousands of illegals then why are federal LIE-berals working so hard to hide the true numbers and why could not Our idiot Boy Justin or his wicked witch cousin Wynne-bag throw Toronto some cash to deal with the sudden MESS?)

(It is wildly amusing how hostile LIE-berals get at being called LIARS and yet they cannot help themselves from doing it and JUSTIFYING the nasty name! And the lies are not even good ones- they just talk in obvious CIRCLES! If the economy is booming then where is the money and WHY is debt soaring and why so many suddenly homeless? LIE-berals do not answer!)

How cold has it been?

Well, according to Councillor John Campbell, cold enough to keep people off the streets. As he told the CBC, “When it’s -15 C, people don’t want to walk a block-and-a-half to get to a restaurant; they want to park within 100 metres.”

(Gosh! And how many centuries has it been since winter last came to Toronto? Cold and homeless people were not a big deal the PREVIOUS WINTER! Are LIE-berals afraid that illegals will turn to crime and violence if they don’t get suitable shelter damned quick? And should we ask how quick illegals will turn to crime and violence if they cannot get good jobs in our LIE-beral debauched economy?)

Campbell was explaining why restaurateurs on King St. W. are complaining about how bad business has been lately. According to the councillor, the loss of 180-odd street parking spots for the transit pilot project has turned King into a “dead zone.”

(Speaking for myself- I note there is ALWAYS a downturn in business whenever there is the threat of a govt strike- like at the colleges, or TTC workers, or the other 17 assorted unions that all finally and grudgingly- in early 2018- accepted raises of 2 percent for each of the next four years- LIE-berals KNEW in January 2018 that they would be out of power and Hogs took the series of 2 percent raises after recognizing it was all LIE-berals could offer! The ugly truth is that when Hogs are riled up about wages or approaching elections they DO NOT go to restaurants! And women in high heels and men in suits do not walk far in bitter cold winter weather- after the HANDY parking places are taken away!)

Even though there are thousands of parking spots within a few minutes’ walk and despite the ease with which the King streetcar now travels, Torontonians hate to be outdoors for a minute longer than necessary when temperatures are so low.

Makes one wonder how the homeless manage to make their way to the aptly named Better Living Centre, where Toronto has cleverly opened a homeless shelter. Far from transit, but surrounded by parking, the shelter on the grounds of Exhibition Place has beds for 20 and plans for 100 by the middle of the month. Too bad the homeless don’t own cars.

(Yeah- maybe LIE-berals can promise to hand out free taxi fares to homeless people in the next election in 2022? Jackass John Tory and his Toronto Turkey Squad have already antagonized too many Toronto citizens by dumping homeless shelter problems on people who do not appreciate City Hall bullies! Too many store owners start their day by mopping up deposits of vomit and other nasty fluids from store fronts and from loading docks!)

Despite reports to the contrary, however, Councillor Joe Mihevc, assured the press last month that, “These are spots that are real and that will bring people in from the winter cold.”

Let’s not forget: poverty includes more than the homeless. Although a job is enough to keep many off the streets, more people than ever rely on food banks to eat. So when Ontario’s new $14-minimum-wage came into effect on Jan. 1, business owners took immediate action. The most emblematic response came when certain Tim Horton’s franchisees sent word to staff, or in Tim Horton’s parlance, “team members,” that, henceforth, they would not be paid for breaks and would also be required to contribute a whole more to their benefit programs.

What choice did the owners have?

(And ”more people than ever rely on food banks to eat”- in our BOOMING ECONOMY? There is the lie- pick a side- booming or starving?)

By the time the team heard the news, Daniel Schwartz, CEO of Tim’s parent company Restaurant Brands International, who took home a modest $6.2 million in 2016, might already have made the yearly earnings of some of them.

(Oh! The head of Timmies is a $6 million dollar man just like that Boss Hog that is chairman of Hydro- the one Doug Ford wants to FIRE for being a Hog! How is it that Hume can defend the salaries of Hydro Hogs who have a monopoly stranglehold on an essential public service while ATTACKING Timmies business owners who MUST control costs or go bankrupt- because unlike Hogs- Timmies DOES NOT have a monopoly! WE ALL need electricity daily but one can go for decades without Timbits! Just another subject that Hume and his gravy grabbing Red Star commissars skip over!)

Workers and executives have nothing in common, Carleton University business professor, Ian Lee told the press. Of CEOs, he said, “Comparing them to an ordinary person is like comparing apples to kumquats; it’s a false comparison.”

That might account for the scarcity of kumquats.

(And it explains the opinions of Carleton HOGS as well! The old Soviet Union had NO trouble getting economics professors to support their economic plans either!)

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau takes a question during a town hall Q&A with youth at a hiring fair held in a Toronto Library, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.Chris Young / THE CANADIAN PRESS
The mainstream media, of which the tabloid Sun is not a member in the eyes of the high-browed CBC and broadsheet crowd, has finally caught up with groping allegations levelled against Justin Trudeau which was written about here some three weeks ago.
The National Post, in a column penned by its star columnist Andrew Coyne, put it on its front page Thursday, and the CBC ran a piece Wednesday by its staff opinion writer, Robyn Urback.
Maybe now someone in the parliamentary press gallery will scrum our prime minister on how he is perhaps not the pot to be calling the kettle black.
So far no one has been so moved.
It was the Ottawa-based satirical magazine, Frank, that first published the editorial that ran 18 years ago in the Creston Valley Advance, a small community newspaper in British Columbia, in which a young female reporter, apparently no longer in the game, described of being “groped” and “manhandled” by a then 28-year-old Justin Trudeau, a high school teacher, when he attended a fundraising music festival in that town, Pop: 5,300.
As the editorial rightly asked, “Shouldn’t the son of a former prime minister be aware of the rights and wrongs that go along with public socializing?
“Didn’t he learn through his vast experiences in public life, that groping a strange young woman isn’t in the handbook of proper etiquette?”
Before writing my column on these allegations, I checked first with the publisher of the Advance, who confirmed the incident had occurred and that the copy of that long-ago editorial was both accurate and credible.
I then went to the Prime Minister’s Office for comment before filing the column for publication both online and in print.
And this was their response.
“As the PM has said before, he has always been very careful to treat everyone with respect,” wrote Trudeau press secretary Matt Pascuzzo.
“His first experiences with activism on the issue of sexual assault were at McGill University, and he knows the importance of being thoughtful and respectful.
“He remembers being in Creston for the Avalanche Foundation,” said Pascuzzo, “But he doesn’t think he had any negative interactions there.”
The column got considerable traction on social media, but nary a follow-up in any other media outlet beyond the Sun’s Brian Lilley.
Now the heat appears to be on.
In Urback’s column, she says the CBC is continuing its investigation into the event and opines that Trudeau has boxed himself in by way of his unforgiving approach to caucus members who have crossed the line.
“In the current climate, denying the claim is akin to saying, ‘She’s lying,’ which is a taboo phrase for the leader of a government that has made believing women central to its approach to sexual misconduct allegations,’ wrote Urback.
“If the allegation is true, on the other hand, Trudeau can’t simply explain, apologize and attempt to move on.
“It would look like he afforded himself (the) leniency that he’d denied to members of his caucus who were accused of misconduct,” said Urback.
“So, the prime minister is stuck; he can’t confirm nor deny.”
The National Post’s Andrew Coyne took the same tack, that Justin Trudeau has painted himself into a corner, but that it still needs addressing.
“This can’t just be dismissed as fake news,” wrote Coyne. “This isn’t some rent-a-victim recruited by the prime minister’s enemies to make trouble.
“This is a complaint made at the time,” he argued.
So, what happens now? Will our prime minister, the great preacher of feminism, face his own music or will he continue to evade direct comment?
The next media scrum he faces must have the question asked.
Did he, or didn’t he?
And, if he did, what form will his self-banishment take?

Justin Trudeau addresses groping allegation, says he doesn’t recall ’negative interactions’

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he does not remember any “negative interactions” during an event he attended 18 years ago in British Columbia — acknowledging for the first time allegations of sexual misconduct that recently resurfaced about him at the event.
Trudeau told reporters in Regina on Sunday that he remembers attending the music festival in Creston, B.C., in the summer of 2000, but said he doesn’t recall anything going amiss.
“I remember that day in Creston well, it was an Avalanche Foundation event to support avalanche safety. I had a good day that day. I don’t remember any negative interactions that day at all,” Trudeau said.
This marks the first time Trudeau has offered direct comment on the 18-year-old allegation that has resurfaced in media reports in recent weeks. However, his answer is the same one that has been provided by his office in response to recent questions about the allegation.
The alleged incident reportedly took place at a music festival where money was being raised for the Avalanche Foundation, a charity Trudeau became involved with after his brother Michel died in an avalanche in 1998.
In the days that followed, an editorial appeared in the Creston Valley Advance alleging Trudeau had apologized to an unnamed female reporter at the newspaper after “groping” her at the event. It alleged he told the woman he would not have “been so forward” if he had known she was reporting for a national newspaper.
The unsigned editorial resurfaced recently and has led to calls for the prime minister to address the allegations.
He answered one question on the issue Sunday, but did not offer an opportunity for any follow-ups.
The allegation is particularly problematic for Trudeau, who frequently proclaims himself a feminist and has generally taken a zero-tolerance approach to allegations of sexual misconduct within the Liberal party.
Four MPs have resigned or been kicked out of the Liberal caucus over alleged sexual misconduct since Trudeau became party leader in 2013.
Trudeau has acknowledged that he, like other political leaders, is struggling to figure out the best way to deal with allegations while still allowing due process for those accused.
“I don’t have a rule book that’s been handed down to me from Wilfrid Laurier as leader of the Liberal party on how to handle these situations,” Trudeau said in January.
The Canadian Press has made efforts to speak to the other person involved in the alleged 2000 incident in Creston, B.C., but those efforts have so far been unsuccessful.

Yeah, we also KNOW the allegations against BROWN were untrue as well...I'm guessing by the reaction, this time this might actually be TRUE.

So he's saying she must have wanted it. Seems he's not only a groper, but a victim shamer as well.

Wasn't it Trudeau who told us that victims stories must always be believed? Didn't he lecture us that there is no time limit on sexual assault allegations? Sorry tater, your rules apply to you too.

Problem being the reporter does not want to be bothered with it anymore, confirmation is going to be a little tough unless other women step up

Doesn't matter, he put forward an apology to her saying that he didn't know she was a reporter or he wouldn't have been so forward. At best, this confirms there was an interaction between them that he acknowledged happened and that she did not appreciate. At worst, he assaulted her against her will. By Trudeau's own rules which he laid out, her accusation must be believed and he must answer for it, rather than speaking around it in such obscure, sterile terms.

Own it or deny it, tater!! Your credibility as a staunch defender of sexual assault victims and champion of womens rights depends on it.

He's hoping it will just go away and his base will forgive him or simply ignore the heinous incident as typical.

Most people generally despise double-standards, particularly from politicians. This even applies to moderate progressives generally, although not as much as in the past.

This trust fund buffoon has obviously never spent even a single day living in the real world, it's a stigma that's followed him from day one. This non-response response of his won't play well, even to his base, despite the media's most concerted effort to bury the story and move on.

This may not grow any legs, but it's not going away. I think days of Trudeau pretentiously lecturing the rest of us on victim blaming and believing all allegations regardless of evidence are likely behind us. Would be interesting to see how he would approach any new allegations if they were to come out against any members of his party.

More fairness from the Left...

Trump-

Talks about grabbing women by their monkeys + separates kids from parents and puts them all in cages = Hitler

Trudeau-

Actually physically gropes a woman + separates kids from parents and puts them all in cages = Dreamboat Prime Minister

Ah the Sun.

Just when you thought the white nationalists have nothing left to lie about.

Yup. When Republicans Trump and Schwarzenegger were accused of this, they had absolutely no problem with it. On that basis they should have no difficulty with this as well, assuming it is correct and not just another series of BS designed to keep people's attention away from the failings of the far right.
