You really are an ignorant twit. You think that digging a hole for an outhouse equates to open pit mining. You equate chipping a few stone to make arrow heads with mining. You think driving a car is equivalent to a gas plant spewing out tons of toxins a day.

You really are a hoot man.

You are baffled by the reality that if all people in NorAm (or Canada or where ever) would easily combine to eclipse the effects of mining and forestry companies if they needed wood to heat homes and cook food... The millions of outhouses would equate to multiple strip mines and especially, the naive belief that there is only one car, or tractor-trailer or locomotive or farm equipment operating in any area.

Fact is this bud, YOU are the root of the demand for strip mining, forestry, oil & gas, cars, etc.... You're fooling yourself if you have some fantasy that you are living in harmony with your version of Mother Gaia

Northern Ontario,
If you really believe sky is falling, this will scare the sh*t out of you..

Electricity

The average annual electricity consumption for a U.S. residential utility customer was 10,896 kWh, an average of 908 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per month. U.S. Energy Information Administration, Table 5: Residential Average Monthly Bill by Census Division, and State, available at http://www.eia.doe.gov/tools/faqs/faq.cfm?id=97&t=3. On average, electricity sources emit 1.341 pounds (lbs) of carbon dioxide (CO2) per kWh. U.S. Energy Information Administration (U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency), Carbon Dioxide Emissions from the Generation of Electric Power in the United States, 2000, available at http://www.eia.doe.gov/cneaf/electricity/page/co2_report/co2report.html.

Fuel Oil

On average, each single-family home consumed 58.0 gallons of fuel oil a month. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Calculations and References: Home Energy Use, available at Calculations and References | Clean Energy | US EPA. The average carbon dioxide coefficient of distillate fuel oil is 429.61 kg CO2 per 42-gallon barrel (EPA 2010b). U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Calculations and References: Home Energy Use, available at http://www.epa.gov/cleanenergy/energy-resources/refs.html. This means it is it is 10.228809 kgs of CO2 per gallon and using 1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds, this is approximately 22.55 pounds of CO2 per gallon of oil.

Lots more ....... https://www.americanforests.org/assumptions-and-sources/

Why apply for?
Yes "Why" ......if the SCoC doesn't reverse that Federal Judge's decision!

Northern Ontario,
Corporation do employ people willing to work!
And people buy products that are the end result of that (four letter word for you) WORK
As a consumer you contribute to the CO2

So, now Alberta is a socialist utopia in the middle of Fascist Canada?

Or is it a communist hellhole in the middle of a beacon of freedom and opportunity?

I'm confused. . .
