All you nice bleeding heart types have made them what they are today "dependants" living in squalor and seemingly content to do so. How's that been working for them so far?

With your faux moral superiority castigating bigots and racists; at least YOUR conscience is doing fine, eh?

I doubt if anyone alive today signed any Treaties that took as much for as little as possible to put people into squalid conditions in the first place

I would love to see an end to segregation in our country, actually. But at the same time, recognize racially slanted overgeneralizations and simplifications when I hear them.

You wouldn't have recognized a racial overgeneralization had I been talking about your children would you? You and everyone else using the racist descriptor are simply patronizing the crap out of aboriginals and guess what that makes you ~ why, my goodness that's condescending, demeaning and..........?

When did this become about my comfort? I thought we sere discussing how to provide comfort to aboriginals ~ yet again.
I believe the discussion was about 70 people put out of their homes (as comfortable as they aren't) by a fire. Kapuskasing stepped up to the plate - so there's no need to ask you. Don't worry. Your precious penny jar is safe.

Northern Ontario,
I'm glad there is something to show the disgustging side of Canada.
As you can see...not too many died while prisoners here and quite a few choose to stay after the second world war and were even offered work in the mill here as I have posted before.

That cemetery is just across the road from our municipal cemetery.

Haha, "not too many died" isn't exactly the best defense of something like that. Our government imprisoned 1,300 people there simply because of their race. Letting them out because you need more workers isn't exactly benevolent.

I believe it was you who first used the word comfortable, was it not?

Were it only pennies we've thrown away over generations there'd be no problem, would there? Where do all the pennies go? Ice rinks and Zamboni's perhaps? Escalades for the chiefs?

Are you foolish enough to believe that any of the band council are heading to Kapuskasing because they were actually living in one of those crappy trailers. They got a far bigger problem with their own people screwing them over than worrying about a "bigot", "racist" and his pennie jar wouldn't you say?

Were talking about prisoners of war!
