Coal deposits..

The coal and the coal gasses are 30m down. NG is 3300m. How deep are these water wells that are getting contaminated?

In the bush near Sudbury
Do you realize how much deeper a gas or oil well is then a water well?
Have you ever seen a drill rig next to a water well?

Pretty hard pressed for frac fluid to find its way to someones well a mile away.
The compressors on the service rigs arent that big.
Is your cleaning solvent pressurized?

I can have a crop growing on a lease site within a week of it being fracked.

So what? You think that plants and humans have the same physiology? You've never heard of using plants to remove heavy metal toxins from sites during remediation? You truck the plants away afterwards and treat them as other contaminated wastes are. You wouldn't want to eat it just because it grows there... Hmm, I thought this would be something you would be familiar with.

If it gets contaminated in any way shape or form there is a vac truck on site within 10 minutes and clean up is started.

Right...provided someone knows it's been contaminated. Where's the evidence of all the monitoring in place to check aquifers that were drilled through to get to the gas producing deposits? Point is that a plant growing on the soil doesn't mean it's un-contaminated. Fail.

There is inspectors watching 24/7 and they are very strict.

He figures what comes out of the hole is just dumped all willy nilly like and oil comes shooting out of the ground like in an old John Wayne movie.

Some have no idea puppies like these exist.

I was on an abandomnent once and I told the hydro vac guy to dump their water on the high side of the lease as per Encanna policy and procedures. A rig happened to be driving by to it's next site and they phoned it in and the next thing I know there is 4 enviro guys from Calgary flying up.I followed all the rules and had all my permits done up properly so I was ok but the hassle was unreal.
No wonder the price of oil is so high.

Well, the lawsuit between Jessica Ernst and EnCana and two regulatory agents should shed some light on the definitive statements made here by you and others. It will be some time before the dust settles though.

The regulators wouldn't even give her access to the monitoring records, that is until the courts forced them to not only hand over those records, but to reimburse Ernst for the fees she was charged for her information requests.

Enviro govt. lawyers can and will drag you through court for years for the smallest infraction.
That's why the inspectors are so strict, their the ones that will be in court.
