ok but seriously..

how can these be any good? now I know they aren't but they can't exactly declare these to be great movies just because a few million or so Teenage girls cram into a theatre to see it and swoon over some over-rated actor and a talentless woman.

poor acting, poor scripts, and yet young girls gotta spend their hard earned Parents cash to go see it..

ah well.

Jeeez. Get used to it. By far, the majority of Hollywood movies are intended to evoke momentary thrills and occasionally there's one that has something to say. You want meaning, try Indie films.

I'm not a huge fan of them but I have seen them.... there's far worse movies being made or have been made. They're just the next little fad that will die off once the movies are all done and out on DVD/Blueray.

When was the last time you heard anybody brag on about the Lord of the Rings movies? Sure they were done decently and were decent stories.... but the point is that after a couple of years, very few will be talking about them..... much like these movies.

Remember when the Ninja Turtle movies came out?

If you haven't watched them, how do you know what they are like?

Personally, I find it funny that haters seems to spend more time talking about Twilight than the supposedly annoying fans do.

I haven't read the books, but I did see the first movie once it hit the movie channel on tv. Frankly, it was a movie, really no different from any other romance movie out there. Sure, it wasn't the best acting in the world, but it also wasn't the worst.

Have you been making sure to keep a haters list for Megan Fox movies too? Grown men seem to have no issue paying to go watch her stellar acting. lol.

I tried to watch the first one. I didn't finish it.

so there's no point in wasting my time watching the 2nd or 3rd.

and I don't think Fox is anything special...

If my daughter likes it and it causes no harm, I don't care. I 'm suer I enjoyed the occasional crapy teen romance myself. I don't think I missed one single Degrassi! I"ll even fess up to reading a few Sweet Valley High books!

You bet! Each to her/his own. :)) Be pretty dull discussions if we all had the same preferences and enjoyed or disliked the same things. lol

Yawn. I watched the occasional episode. I kept thinking Deja Vu. lol I'm not built to pay much attention to the past. ;) Too progressive, I guess.

I was under the impression that the Twilight series was primarily aimed at teens & lonely women. It's a soap opera........ but with fangs. :p

Exactly. There seems to be a break down though in people not being able to tolerate when something isn't targeted to them i guess.

Mind you, I never heard this kind of constant hate fest over Transformers just because it wasn't aimed at the lady audience. lol.

KStew admits cheating on RPatz

LOS ANGELES -- Actress Kristen Stewart apologized to long-term boyfriend and "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson on Wednesday for a recent fling in which she was photographed kissing and embracing the director of her most recent movie, Rupert Sanders.
The 41-year-old director of Stewart's film, "Snow White and the Huntsman," also issued a statement on Wednesday saying he was "utterly distraught" over the pain he has caused to his wife and children following his indiscretion with the 22-year-old actress that made headlines around the world.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," Stewart said in a statement to People magazine.
A fling between a Hollywood star and her director is nothing new in showbiz, but this one gained widespread attention because of the high-profile people involved. Stewart, 22, and Pattinson, 26, portray the vampire-human couple of the "Twilight" series of blockbuster romance movies who are deeply in love in the films.
The pair's on-screen romance transferred to their real lives, and they confirmed they were dating in 2010. But they have tried to remain discreet in public and don't often discuss their relationship.
Given their past, Stewart's romantic liaisons with director Sanders, which was reported with photos on celebrity news outlets including People and Us Weekly, surprised celebrity watchers and put the trio in a publicly awkward situation.
"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together," Sanders said in a statement to Reuters.
British director Sanders is married to model and actress Liberty Ross, 33, with whom he has two children. In a twist befitting of a good Hollywood drama, Ross portrayed the mother to Stewart's Snow White in the "Huntsman" tale.
Representatives for Stewart and Pattinson did not respond to Reuters' request for comment.
Most recently, Pattinson and Stewart were together promoting the upcoming final "Twilight" film, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," at San Diego's Comic-Con earlier this month.
Universal Pictures announced in June that they were moving forward with a sequel to "Snow White and the Huntsman," but did not confirm whether Sanders would helm the film. Stewart is expected to reprise her role, but is not confirmed.

I read the books so I'd know what my daughter was going on about, but I have no intention of seeing the movies. I think the female lead--I was so unimpressed I don't even remember her name--was a silly and shallow character. Things don't work out perfectly for her all the time and so she goes almost catatonic....What a wonderful role model. Give me Hermione Granger any day, things don't work out for her and she gets pissed off and prepares to do some serious butt kicking. That's my kind of woman.

Ive seen them all. I only paid to see the last one. In my defence I only went to the theatre to get drunk and make fun of the movie with a friend. It was fun.
My sister is practically obsessed with Twilight. Im very sad to say that the first book she read all the way through was a Twilight book. She was 18.
