The push seems to be at changing the way the electoral vote rather than a recount although a recount would show voter fraud on the part of Hillary so that Avenue would not be an option for their side but if the real count was in Trump's favor then he would have both aspects and that vote wouldn't mean anything.

Busing in the protesters from out of state would seem to be the clue that Trump is highly favored to be the next President even without a detailed plan. This would have to go the route that the Ukraine took as far as making sure anarchy was in play rather than co-operation and getting many tasks completed on time and under budget.

I would think that any American that was against spending $1T or so on in-house repairs using American goods and American labor would be more like financial terrorists than patriots for the old guard..
