Yup we have a good gig here ,, It would suck if something happened to it . We best apply for even more guverment funding least we become irrelevant.
We need more staged car crashes. Maybe update with a trans girl dieing at the drunken hand of a lesbian instead of the boy killing the gjrlfriend.

I went to the Shriner's Circus in town when my daughters were just toddlers. When I was driving out after the show there were protesters mad about the treatment of the elephant in the show. I yelled out my car window..."Relax! The elephant looks better groomed than all of you put together!"

The protesters all went ballistic on me! It was hilarious...the air was blue! :)
To be fair elephants do like to work and do enjoy the applause. Horses are the same way. They love to show off and compete just because they can.

Yup I liked when the teens stopped drinking and driving their Porches but just rolled them by speeding . Complete carnage , but at least they were sober .

Backbench Ottawa MP Chandra Arya to run for Liberal leadership

OTTAWA — Ontario MP Chandra Arya is the second Liberal to announce he wants to replace Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as leader of the Liberal party.

Arya posted on social media Thursday morning that he wants to campaign on running a “small, more efficient government” and on offering “bold political decisions” to solve the country’s problems.

Arya joins former Montreal MP and businessman Frank Baylis as the only two declared candidates in the race so far.

Higher-profile Liberals said to be considering leadership bids include former central banker Mark Carney, former finance minister Chrystia Freeland and former B.C. premier Christy Clark.

Current cabinet ministers Karina Gould, Francois-Philippe Champagne, Melanie Joly, Steven MacKinnon and Jonathan Wilkinson say they are also thinking about running.

The party leadership is meeting today behind closed doors to hammer out the rules and timeline for the race and more candidates are expected to declare once those are set.

I've kind of been going on about more diverse regional representation rather than to just jump on the Conservative band wagon and let them split the enchilada.

A Prairie Green overthrow of the existing Green party running a bunch of candidates across Western Canada might be the answer. Surely the Green party is going to come up with an election strategy. I use them as the takeover target because they already exist and have funding.

It just seems to naive to do the same as we have been doing and expect better results imo.

Gesh, I just read that Jolie is not interested. I think this needs an update.

I was mildly surprised as I was reading the above post and got down to the video, that Backbench Ottawa MP Chandra Arya wasn’t a woman. Guess he’s just some guy who voted in lockstep with Justin Trudeau for as long as he’s been in parliament then? Don’t know how I missed him, ‘cuz he sits right there since 2015.

Yeah, she couldn’t get the funding from Hamas or UNRWA to pay for the $350,000.00 entrance fee.

Not like they’re not watching. It’s like a traffic accident or a dumpster fire, & though they’re not participants, it’s hard to turn their attention away from it when it’s happening beside them.

The Liberal party will choose its new leader on March 9. The new leader is expected to assume office as the 24th prime minister of Canada and appoint the 30th Canadian ministry and lead the party into the upcoming federal election…& we still don’t even know who all are running or not in that goat rodeo…or who will be our next Liberal prime minister in 57 days. Could be Chandra Arya (who, as far as I know, I’ve only just heard ‘his’ name for the first time this morning) or someone else we’ve never heard of.

Early May election.
Or June, or July, or October 20th, or maybe October 27th (looking at you here Jagmeet)….

What’s your logic for predicting a May election? Parliament back March 27th from “this” proroguing…for maybe a day for a procurement vote…& then what to turn into a May election?

(A Canadian Federal election period must be a minimum of 36 days and a maximum of 50 days…if parliament lasts long enough without a second proroguing in late March)

Nonconfidence
That has to happen during parliament on an opposition day, or over a vote in involving the budget, etc…

I’m assuming Jagmeet Singh is already back in the pocket of the Liberals, for this next procurement vote on March 27th. My best guess is the purchase (rental) price was rolling the election date forward further from October 20th to the 27th, so that a whole slew of liberal and NDP MPs will get pensions they otherwise wouldn’t get. If that’s the case, I could see Parliament sitting March 27th, & then Trudeau proroguing Parliament again March 28th. Does this sound plausible to you?

If no parliament, then no non-confidence vote. It gives whomever the newest Liberal leader more time (= exposure) for a honeymoon period before an election, & would keep this new leader in the spotlight with the opposition in the background for another couple months, as long as Parliament isn’t sitting for the opposition to cross-examine the government.

This above scenario would be good for the liberal party, & very very bad for Canada, so it seems plausible to me. Damn the Trump torpedoes if it’s good for the liberal party sort’a thing.

Youre expecting too much. The new leader doesn't need time. New leader is the time to call nonconfidence.

That’s why, I’m assuming the liberals are going to give this new leader time, without a confidence vote, to get exposure. How would they accomplish that? By removing the threat of an no-confidence vote again as soon as they pass their procurement bill.

A snap election is great for Canada and the conservatives, but not for the liberals.
