Right cobalt we all believe the opportunistic beeatch  You just do not understand how childish this kind of attack is? In case you did not know, you have not convinced a single person to cross over and support your agenda, yet you attempt to act as a success.
Perhaps i missed the huge crowd amassing around you, yeah, that would be it.
No, you missed the fact that this is a discussion.
And as a public official Rob Ford is a valid topic of discussion.
And apparently you also haven't grasped the concept of humor and it's use to both entertain and inform. Mary Walsh is an
entertainer, you see the entire world isn't divided into this left/right dichotomy that some people people would like us to believe in. Some of us just want to be entertained at times. Walsh showed up as part of a show that has been lampooning public figures in Canada for years regardless of their party affiliation and does it brilliantly, if you can't see the humor in a grown woman dressed as a warrior princess catching usually staid public figures at their most vulnerable that's unfortunate.
Ford's reaction was to run inside and call 911, something that he also repeated during another situation later that evening. Ford's behaviour is relevant to political discussions as he's not a private citizen and his actions can affect the lives of millions, something that some of you don't seem to grasp when you keep trying to assert that Rob Ford should be untouchable to the media. If he wants to live a private life he can do so a so as a private citizen, as long as he's mayor and continues the bizarre behaviour he's going to be in the press.
For instance if he shows up in Alberta again wandering around looking for the mayors of our two largest cities without informing anyone he's coming only to find they aren't even here. Or driving in a manner that places the lives of other commuters at risk or transit riders. Or is filmed inebriated at various locations around the city, or wanders in and out of council meetings as if he can't tell the difference between vacation and vocation. Or violates conflict of interest rules seemingly at will.
Rob Ford is in the public focus because he's mayor of Canada's largest city, if he was a private citizen doing these things, at most the police would be involved. Due to the chaos his
behaviour is causing the city of Toronto there are many people who wish that he was just a private citizen. Not because of his politics or any of the other nonsense being created to deflect from the real issue, but because they would like a real mayor. Not someone who seems to be using the position of leader of our largest city as some bizarre form of therapy.
