Albertans beat up British guy as he runs across Canada

They probably thought he was Blackleaf



Nah. It's not me. I don't do silly things like running across Canada in - 40 degree F. I saw some of the footage on Sky News this morning of this guy jogging through frozen, Arctic tundra.

I heard a story once about an Albertan who invented an inflatable dartboard.

He was about to patent it but realised an Irishman beat him to it.

And then after the Irishman beat him to it, he thought he'd invent a novelty chocolate teapot.

Imagine his amazement - and yet more disappointment - when he found that the Irishman had already invented that, too.

So back goes the Albertan to the drawing board - coming up with the idea of a self-opening parachute that inflates on impact. He was pleased to find out that that pesky Irishman had NOT invented that - because he had come up with the idea for a helicopter with an ejector seat.
