Hundreds of mill workers, loggers, logging truck drivers and every single business that those workers and the mill supported are affected. This is a really big blow to numerous communities here in the Interior and the North. This is solely due to the NDP/Green government's re-writing the rules around forest tenure making it all but impossible for forest companies to remain competitive.

I meant in the great scheme of things. We've been hit with devastating forest fires two years in a row, added to mountain pine beetle kill...something HAD to give. MacKenzie is in dire straits, may have to find another industry. I was surprised when I checked the population yesterday (around 3,000)………….40 years ago it was about 7,000 if I remember correctly.

The reason we pay the WB $30B/yr for useless interest is because if we didn't it would cost us $60B in 'lost wages'. The loans they are going to give out need to have useless environmental spending for things that are unimportant. The reason, it employs 2x as many people for 2x as long as the contract should. Make work extras are standard or everybody sits at home on welfare. That may not be as bad as it sounds as networking would make interaction with others possible but going to a site would not be part of it. Pro-anything has the best facilities for the game but what is missing is the bleachers and the parking lot. The money the players get would be 2x what welfare pays and the audience would pay very little for a season pass that allows interaction as well as being able to choose which camera you watch the match through. At home voting would be something that is not available today at any stadium so all steps are not backwards.

We know there is going to be a demand for dimensional lumber sooner rather than later. The technology is in place now to build high rises up to 20 storeys out of lumber.

There are a lot we could do to fix up the Indian Villages around Hudson Bay. A task Canadians will not do as it takes a few pennies out of out pockets. 40,000 people need new warm dry homes, why not subsidize that as it needs fixing from the bottom up. If the people doing the repairs are from all over Canada the program will have more success than in the money is not given to just companies in Ontario and Quebec as that if how the mess began.

When the US cracks open we will be invaded by 'many American refugees'. We can try and stop them (won't be successful but it will be expensive) or buck the system and welcome all of them by giving them a home and a 20 year loan when they cross the border.
