feck, I want a juice box. How come no ones offered me one? ffs, bunch of selfish bassturds.
He's considerably moderated his positions on NATO, NAFTA, China, the budget, and several other hot-button issues.
Not true, actually. He said that he was spending his own money, but as in so many things, that's only part of the story. The rest is that he lent that money to his campaign, and when the donor money rolled in, his campaign paid him back. So it was pretty much a transaction between his left hand and his right hand, and he took as much "special interest" money as Clinton did.
Who has he talked about torturing?
This partially answers the OP question. You look at all the stupid things Trump has done and think "how could anyone still support him?" Well, look at JLM. He doesn't even know about Trump's stance on torture. It was kind of an important news story. Why do Trump's supporters still support him? Some of them are just ignorant.
What do you think would have happened under Hillary?
If he'd put down his phone, shut his yap and hire a makeup artist who isn't f_cking colorblind, I might take him a bit more seriously. But he freaks out even when comedians satirize him on SNL. A long tradition by the way. Maybe he ought to call up GW Bush for some pointers on how to turn the other cheek.
Trudeau is a whole other can of worms. A lame duck PM for sure, but (and this will probably raise the ire in some) I'd take his lame ass over the orange menace any day of the week.
Why would anybody think this moron is intelligent?
![]()
I assume you are speaking of THe Donald since in Canada The Orange Menace is how many refer to the federal NDP.
Because not being able to spell in not an indicator of intelligence or lack thereof.
Nah! Trump really is a moron and hasn't got a clue how to govern. He has no sense of history or the constitution or even how to form complete sentences. I don't listen to the news but I do watch him speak, look at what he is doing and what he is trying to do and all I see is a spoiled little brat, rich asshole who only thinks of himself and is lining his pockets at the expense of his followers. This partially answers the OP question. It was kind of an important news story or on the other hand was just as likely a bunch of hype. Why do Trump's supporters still support him? Some of them are just ignorant or don't jump to conclusions bases on dramatic news clips a la Mental Floss

He is divisive. He's protectionist. A poor sport. And according to Stephen Cobert his mouth doubles as Vladmir Putin's cock holster.
I don't know my Trump supporting friends, I think that you have the blinders on.
Something both sides accuse the other of doing, but I am a conservative. I still think Trudeau is a useless Prime Minister and I believe that Hillary was only being given a nod by the Democrats because they figured it was her turn. But I see this guy shooting his mouth off and little else. He has even aimed his sights on Canada. That 24% lumber tarriff is going to cost Albertans jobs and cost home builders in the USA money as well. He talks about walking away from Nato. Says he'd be honored to meet with the demented child king in North Korea only days after threatening to kick the crap out of them. He has zero substance, in my opinion, a sputtering megalomaniac who hasn't got an F what he's doing.
And Captain, he doesn't hold a candle to Ralph. I thought Ralph rocked even when I didn't live here.
Ralph was a far better man and more seasoned politician than this blustering orange haired idiot.
They may as well have voted in Kanye West, they both have the same twitter mentality.
Are any of you wavering in your support?
I don't disagree with most of this .Not true, actually. He said that he was spending his own money, but as in so many things, that's only part of the story. The rest is that he lent that money to his campaign, and when the donor money rolled in, his campaign paid him back. Well, I certainly back a dirtier, more polluted country.
The big upside so far is that on trade and international affairs Trump has declared an end to the era of the U.S. allowing itself to be screwed by the client states in order to get them on board. Most of the international order was established by the U.S. in the post-WWII period, and as I said, we deliberately signed unfavorable agreements and treaties to aid in the rebuilding of war-torn countries and in the hope that we could spread Western democracy. At the time we could afford it, and it's probably been as successful as it was likely to be. Nowadays we're no longer the superdominant superpower, largely due to the success of our post-WWII programs, and it's time for the little kiddles to start paying the grown-up ticket price.
But do you see the President of the United States when he speaks ?Nah! Trump really is a moron and hasn't got a clue how to govern. The notion that Trump is not a politician is the parallel that I was referring to (Lord knows that Klein didn't have a single politician-bone in his body). Klein also approached running the Province in a business-like fashion much the same way that Trump has implied he would do.
These are 2 of the reasons that i have more faith in Trump (whatever that's worth as I am not an American) than I did in Clinton
