A question for Trump supporters.

Let me preface this by saying I was no fan fan of Hillary and really saw this last election as a no-win situation, but I gotta ask. Are you folks that support (ed) Trump really that steadfast? Do you not see the way he is conducting himself? Are you really buying the fake news crap and the Obama wiretapping?

Here's a question. Are any of you wavering in your support?

To begin with I never thought the man was a perfect candidate and I do believe he could make improvements to his conduct. There's a few things that must be considered-

1. He is far more qualified than Hillary.
2. I like the facts that he wants to clear out the illegal riff raff and the drugs that go with it, the fact that he is determined to improve employment and keep what jobs he can in the country. I like the fact he wants to reduce taxes.
3. Most of what he says/does is upon the advice of his handlers and advisers and THAT worked well on Nov. 8. Is he perfect? Not by a long shot! Just half a dozen light years ahead of Hillary!

If your busband did what hers did publicly...especially given that in order for ber to get as far as she did she had to do it married.

Sorry, I don't have a husband. :) :) (And I think chances are slim in the near future) :)

If Hillary is 1/10 as capable and qualitied as her supporters make her out to be, she could have walked out on Bill years ago and probably still be earning a salary in the six figures.

No, she wouldn't have. Thats the point. Are you being purposely obtuse?

It was amazing to hear her messages not only change depending on who she was addressing, but making promises to one group and then basically breaking that promise the next day or so in promising something to another group that contradicted the first one.

It was pathetic
Trump's message can often change within the same sentence.

You folks do realize you can hate Hillary and still think this guy is a brain dead baboon? There is no "rule" that says you have to like or support one or the other. Just saying.

When I saw the two contenders I thought, Oh man, this is gonna suck.

Clearly they don't. What more evidence do you need?

There is no "rule" that says you have to like or support one or the other. Just saying.
Of course there is. It's one of the most enforced rules in society. "My country, right or wrong." "Be true to your school." "You dance with the one that brung you." "The team, the team, the team."

When I saw the two contenders I thought, Oh man, this is gonna suck.
It's amazing that from the field of contenders, these two made the finals. It's like the Alouettes and the Roughriders making the Grey Cup, or, for Yanks, the Browns and the Buccaneers making the Super Bowl

At this point, Hillary is no longer particularly relevant. She is the Also-ran, a marginal sidebar of history, now. This constant reference back to the might-have-been "If you think that THIS guy's bad!..." is deflection away from Trump's gross, glaring flaws. Trump would clearly prefer to be a dictator. He seems to be irritated that his demand are not followed to the letter, all of the time. It appears that the American system is resilient enough to prevent him from becoming a dictator. They've been there before, recently with Nixon but the damage that Trump can do to his own country in the meantime may never be fully repaired.

I must say, the libtards, snowflakes and SJWs are so salty from all of this winning lol

1. Muslim Ban - two failed Exec Orders, Obama's border policy remains.

2. Healthcare Repeal - no congress approval even with a Republican majority. Obamacare remains in place.

3. NAFTA - Not tearing it up and he actually likes it now as manufacturing continues to move to Mexico

4. Mexican Border Wall - No funding from congress, not approved

5. Drain the Swamp - Hiring Wall Street Bankers, economic insiders and lobbyists.

6. Climate Change - Staying in Paris Agreement and China kicking US butt on renewables.

7. Tax plan? What tax plan?

Feels good man.

Say it ain't so, Joe! Of course she's irrelevant. The whimpering of Real Americans about participation trophies notwithstanding, America has no use for second place finishers.

She is the Also-ran, a marginal sidebar of history, now. This constant reference back to the might-have-been "If you think that THIS guy's bad!..." is deflection away from Trump's gross, glaring flaws.
It's just another measure in the Trumpchumps' Arsenal of Freedumb.

Trump would clearly prefer to be a dictator. He seems to be irritated that his demand are not followed to the letter, all of the time. To be fair, there's never been a President or a Canadian PM who wouldn't have preferred to be a dictator.

Down hereabouts folk like to brag about the genius of American democracy, like democratization wasn't already proceeding nicely when we got a bug up our butts about taxes. But if there is a uniquely American contribution to democracy (a positive one, I mean), it's probably our success in diffusing power so widely that it's impossible (so far) for one person or party to become a dictator.

As Trevor Noah pointed out - the US primary system managed to select two candidates who could not have beaten anyone but each other.
