She's trying to have it both ways here:
Which is it then? Full responsibility or mob influence? Early on she explains that all she did was some looting, no fires or vandalism or anything. Again, which is it? Either she's in the mob or she's out. If she's blaming mob mentality for her looting than she's in the mob, and contributing to that mentality, and so should take responsibility for mob actions she did not personally commit.
And she didn't really play the race card. She was responding to racist comments made against her. Of course, she ironically cited the affirmative action part of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms while trying to explain that Canada doesn't accept racism.
