Not sure on this but did not Mohammed make reference to 72 or 73 religions that man would be faced with and he would not say which would be the true one - It was up to the person to figure it out.

The word "seventy" indicates the large number, and it is not the exact number counting.
E.g. you say to someone: Hundreds of times, I called you, but you did not answer. Which means: not exactly hundreds, but only so many times.
This means there is a large number of sects among Jews, and more of Christians and still more of Muslims: with one sect only is the correct one and the successful: that is what the Prophet followed and the believers with him: it is the group of people who resort to the original way of Prophet Mohammed and his companions: the exclusive devotion to God alone --> this is the successful group that will be saved and will prosper.
The rest will be in Hell fire; because they follow the doctrines of the atheism, the idolatry and the enthusiasm about Jesus, the patron saints, the Jewish sages and Muslim sheikhs.
When I said about the hurricane: it was a probability not compulsory. I don't know the knowledge of the fore-future.
In fact, the hurricane although became less in severity, but it caused much harm:
2 millions of people were evacuated (300 thousands from New York city alone), and 29 millions were on the alarm.
Airports were closed. Highways were closed. Floods occurred in the streets, roofs of some houses were removed by the wind. They estimated the harm by many billion of dollars. In addition, there was the fear, and there was the ambiguity that none knows the final consequences.
Moreover, I took it an opportunity to remind people and admonish them to pray to God alone without associate to be saved and to advise them to be just and do not agree with the wrong-doing and transgression.
In addition, people at the time of disasters are more prone to turn to God Most Gracious and forget about their enthusiasm and blasphemy.
And you said you are an American, and I don't think you are in the region of this hurricane; so if this was true, then we would have seen you as a feather-less bird by now, or at least you have been evacuated with the rest of people in the dangerous areas.

I did say that and I am. I live in Massachusetts and I only evacuated to the bar after the power went out. The place was packed too!

From time to time, we do see French creep into the Threads, and whatever the heck

always spam (& porn spam, and really nasty stuff at that) is the Cyrillic stuff (the backwards
"R's" and such....with links involving animals and children). That's the stuff I zap A.S.A.P.

Speaking of sequel's, I heard that Israel has moved some ships and a couple of divisions up to the border area with Egypt today. Cannot verify the source yet. Hope the rumor is wrong. (on the radio)
