Question for you though: how is what I said any WORSE than some of the comments given by some here about other members at other times, or other Politicals (who are not the same alignment of said people)?

The basis of all of this comes from the fact that DeSantis of Florida said he stands with GLBTQ+ people, and clearing that can be proven an absolute lie.

Yet somehow he's still a great guy?

Replace DeSantis with Trudeau.

How long would it be before the Trudeau Hate Club rears up to go off on not just Trudeau but the person who dared think he'd be 'a great guy'?

If it's just the word 'cunt' that bothers people, for those sensitive, woke, PC, snowflake oh you can't infringe on free speech! people, I can always change the word if it makes their feelings better, like I said.

But it won't change the facts.
Just as an FYI I am no lover of Desaints or his policies. But nothing I say or do would really change someone who shares the different opinion. And everybody has a right to one regardless of my opinion or your opinion of their opinion. But calling someone names because of their opinion is over the line of decency (in my opinion). DeSaints is a public figure and you can call him whatever you want. Dix is not, just a person who has a different opinion than you and a different opinion of DeSaints.

It also strikes me that you are getting very angry. That is not healthy. There is a old saying/prayer: God give me the strength to change what I can change, the courage to accept what I can't and the wisdom to know the difference (or something like that). I think that applies here.

Sure, all true. That doesn't mean people shouldn't get called out if what they say in a moment is a lie.

But calling someone names because of their opinion is over the line of decency (in my opinion).

No, I called Dix a cunt because they were okay about standing with a liar and calling a liar a 'decent guy', when in the next breath it can be proven that had that person been, say, Trudeau, there would be 'outrage'. And that they're okay with people like him leading to kids killing themselves.

I don't claim to be decent sometimes.

DeSaints is a public figure and you can call him whatever you want.

Sure.

Dix is not, just a person who has a different opinion than you and a different opinion of DeSaints.

Again, different view is one thing, supporting a liar and standing with people who are okay with kids killing themselves, no.

It also strikes me that you are getting very angry.

Yeah, I am, because I'm fucking tired of kids DYING for just wanting to LIVE.

Frustrated because people like Dix are "OH THE CHILDREN" when it comes to, say, abortion, yet in typical fashion, once those kids are out of the womb, the lack of fucks given at that point are huge.

People like DeSantis and Dix and others would be FINE with seeing me dead, my niece dead, all because we're part of that GLBTQ+ group. So if I take it personally, if I am outraged for the deaths of kids who do not have to happen... and get angry, ragey... yeah... not apologizing. Because SOMEONE has to.

That is not healthy.

*shrug*

There is a old saying/prayer: God give me the strength to change what I can change, the courage to accept what I can't and the wisdom to know the difference (or something like that). I think that applies here.

I will not stop standing up for and up to people like Dix and crowd. I'm not an idiot, I know nothing will change their pathetic little brain cell, but so long as they post their absolute bullshit and death support, I will get 'angry' and rant back and if they don't like it, they can always use that little "block user" button.

If people want to have an actual discussion that means something, fine, I'm all for that.

This isn't about Dix's difference of opinion, we've had that for a while.

It's because I called them a cunt.

Again, I can always change it to twat.

Just to protect their sensibilities for being called a name and I can laugh at the hypocrisy of it all.

Bull fucking shit!

You arent open to fuck all.

This isn't an extremist venue

You can take that shit back to your LGBTQ2S "hate" group site where you people wallow in hatred, envy and drug addled filth.

I've had enough of you and your creep show cast shitting on yourselves. There is good reason your types are blacklisted from society and even blacklisted from Pride groups.

Do you want to know why?

Could you handle it? Do you have the balls?

You don't love yourself. You hate who you are.

Sure is but it can be done by not hyphenating her user name in a way that doesn't look like hate speech vs free speech

Well, I didn't know calling someone a cunt was really 'hate' speech. HateFUL speech, sure, contemptuous, disgusted with, enraged by speech sure.

Hate speech? Nah, not really.

Maybe it's time you grow humanity, empathy, a fucking SOUL and STFU to let other people live their lives and just exist.

(Also, Chris Evans has more of, well, EVERYTHING in him than you ever could have).
You know me do you? Who is Chris Evans and who cares?

Tim Allen was a better voice for the character anyway

Nope. But I do know what you've already shown.

You're okay if kids die just because they don't fit into a mould YOU would want them to.

LOL.

Tim Allen is an asshole, always was.
Do you read me calling you derogatory names? And which kids am I ok with dying? Do you think it is OK for adults to groom pre pubescente children?

Of course it is, fool. Would you let your kids go out without a wash, teeth brushed, and hair combed?

Oh, right, you're a Canadian Nazi. Of course you would.

OK, I think I figured it out. We got all the right-thinkin' folk here spewing their terror and hate at trans people, but we also got Shakespeare, whose plays are chock-full of women pretending to be men and men pretending to be women, usually to get up next to somebody they want to schtup. Shakespeare is revered, and taught in the schools (I mean good schools, not the ones y'all went to).

So, I have synthesized the following rule. . . pretending to be other than your biological sex is evil, bad, ungodly, and horrible, unless you're doing it for dishonest purposes, in which case, you go, girl/boy/whatever!

Former PQ leader André Boisclair pleads guilty to sexual assault charges
The former PQ cabinet minister admitted he sexually assaulted two men in 2014 and in 2015.

Publishing date:Jun 20, 2022 • 1 day ago • 5 minute read • Join the conversation

André Boisclair, who was once considered to be the future of the Parti Québecois, pleaded guilty Monday to sexually assaulting two men, including one who told police the former politician appeared to be “completely crazy” while high on drugs as he told two other people to rape him.

Wearing a blue suit over a pristine white dress shirt, Boisclair, 56, looked like he was still a politician as he uttered the word “guilty” twice when two different charges were read to Quebec Court Judge Pierre Labelle Monday afternoon.

Jérôme Laflamme, the prosecutor in the case, told the judge that he and defence lawyer Michel Massicotte agreed on a recommendation that Boisclair serve a prison sentence of two years less a day. Labelle said he will decide on whether he agrees with the recommendation at a later date.

The first charge involved a man Boisclair sexually assaulted in January 2014. The victim came forward in 2017, and in May 2020, Boisclair was charged with having sexually assaulted a person, identified only by their initials, with the participation of another person.

According to a statement read into the court record by Laflamme, the first victim met Boisclair when he asked the former PQ leader to join a group of friends on a form of social media.

“The accused and (the first victim) exchanged telephone numbers and they had conversations. Some of the conversations were of a sexual nature, but not deviant. (The first victim) was OK with that situation. During one of those exchanges, the accused invited (the first victim) to his home,” Laflamme said, while adding that the man went to Boisclair’s residence on Jan. 8, 2014.

The prosecutor said Boisclair told the first victim “an escort” might be present. The victim told Boisclair he did not want to have anal sex.

“When he arrived at Boisclair’s home, (the first victim) noticed what appeared to be several drugs on a table. The accused asked (the first victim) to perform fellatio on another person who was there, which he consented to do. Another person arrived at around the same moment. (The first victim) said that the accused consumed drugs with one of the other people who was present.”

The first victim also told police that Boisclair became more aggressive after he consumed the drugs and “spoke of sodomy, something (the first victim) refused to do,” the prosecutor said.

“It was then that the accused told the other two people there to seize (the first victim) and to penetrate him.”

Laflamme said one of the people present held the victim down while another tried to penetrate him until someone said “let him go.”

“According to (the first victim), Boisclair appeared to be under the effect of drugs and that it seemed like he ‘wasn’t there and was completely crazy,’ ” Laflamme said.

While responding to a question from Labelle, Boisclair said he agreed that the statement read by Laflamme was accurate.

A charge alleging that Boisclair sexually assaulted the same man with a weapon was placed under a stay of proceedings.

The prosecutor said the second victim came forward to police after media reported about the first case.

The second victim told police he met Boisclair through an app and was invited to his home on Nov. 22, 2015, and recognized him immediately when he arrived. The second victim told police Boisclair tried to initiate sex and that he told the former cabinet minister to stop, at least three times, while he undressed him.

“While trying to defuse the situation (the second victim) apologized to (Boisclair) while he was putting his shoes back on. While (the second victim) was leaving, (Boisclair) said he wanted to see him again. (The second victim) said he did not want to see him again,” Laflamme said.

The two victims, who cannot be identified, read victim impact statements before the judge.

“The assault committed by Mr. Boisclair has affected my life. I can say that the person I was until 2014 does not exist,” the first victim said, while adding he was a confident student before he was sexually assaulted and that all changed afterward.

He said he used to admire Boisclair and that, since the assault, he fell into depression, experienced financial problems, and his social life was completely altered.

“Following that event, I also had problems with consuming (drugs). I needed them to deal with the distress,” the man said as he became emotional.

The second victim said he was sexually assaulted “when I was evolving as an adult” because he had come out as gay the previous year.

“I was starting to build my identity,” the second victim said, adding the assault changed his social life completely.

“I have been marked for life. Every time I communicate now with someone, be it amorous or intimate, there is a rift between us. I have to devote a lot of time and energy and it isn’t normal. I did not deserve this and no one does.”

Massicotte said his client would not make a statement before the court, but that he wrote a letter of apology to each man.

When he started out in politics, it appeared that Boisclair had a very promising future in the Parti Québécois.

In 1988, at the age of 21, he became the leader of the Parti Québecois young wing by acclamation. At age 23, he became the youngest member of the National Assembly by winning a seat in a Montreal riding in the 1989 election.

In 1996, at the age of 29, he became the second-youngest person to become a cabinet minister in Quebec when he was named citizenship and immigration minister after Lucien Bouchard became Quebec’s premier. He also served as social solidarity minister and then was named environment minister while Bernard Landry was premier.

He took over as leader of the PQ party in 2005, but left in 2007.

This was not the first time that Boisclair has pleaded guilty to a Criminal Code offence. On Feb. 15, 2018, he pleaded guilty in an impaired driving case heard in Quebec City. The charges were filed after his car struck a lamp post in the provincial capital in 2017. He was sentenced to pay a $2,000 fine.
