So...we have some Historians saying 1000 possible war criminals snuck in after WWII, which acounts for about 1% of the immigrats taken in at hat time, upto an estimate by another historian of 3000, which would mean 3%. No one says that they were welcomed into Canada with full knowledge of who or what they did. Now....over 50 years later...we have half senile old men being found to be possible war criminals. No matter which way you slice it though, the numbers are small and a far cry from being able to state that Canada is a "haven" for war criminals and mass murderers.

We will seek assurances that he will recieve life rather than death, and he will be deported. At this pont he IS only a suspect. He has not been found guilty of anything.
