MO my a$$, it's a fact and by fluffying it off as a swipe at the yanks when in reality it is a swipe at Canadians...is just more american a$$ kissing. They can say and do as they please but god forbid that anyone say anything derogatory about them.
Actually Gh, when I first heard it, my responce was... F U!!! Along with several other explitifs.

But to be honest, I see Canada as a bastion for war criminals, mass murderers, weak willed Politicians and populous alike.

So I guess it's pretty acturate. It still upsets me, but it doesn't make American's any less or more falible then you or I.

So...we have some Historians saying 1000 possible war criminals snuck in after WWII, which acounts for about 1% of the immigrats taken in at hat time, upto an estimate by another historian of 3000, which would mean 3%. No one says that they were welcomed into Canada with full knowledge of who or what they did. Now....over 50 years later...we have half senile old men being found to be possible war criminals. No matter which way you slice it though, the numbers are small and a far cry from being able to state that Canada is a "haven" for war criminals and mass murderers.

Nice deflection by the way. We were talking about the REAL mass murders and war criminals of the 20th and 21st century. The americans, no one can hold a light to the number of dead under their hands.

and your second article, which relates to the fact that Canada does not support the death penalty, is for what? We will seek assurances that he will recieve life rather than death, and he will be deported. At this pont he IS only a suspect. He has not been found guilty of anything. Or do you prefer guilty untill proven innocent?

No, but Gh, you yourself have stated that we should be forcing our beliefs on other countries no?

So why is it ok sometimes, but not others.

I'll find more, trust me, there is good reason we are a laughing stock of a nation, with more nations then the US.

Let's see if I got this right...... posting an article that points out the fact that americans are using "canadian" in a derogatory and racist way is taking a swipe at the "Yanks"?

Give me a fricken break:roll:

Again you are saying Americans are using the word Canadian as a code word for the N word as if each an every American is doing that or a vast majority is. The first time I even heard of this happening was when I read this post yesterday.

Didn't they send Ng back to the US, Bear? I'll look it up later, but I thought they did.
I know we did a lot of waffling in the good ol Canadian way cause he could have been executed in the States (god forbid any harm would come to that vermin), but pretty sure he was returned.

Anyway, time for breakfast:

:coffee2:

Gee Unf....you mean we didn't let him roam free, gamboling across the prairies, enjoying our snow covered mountains, because we didn't get the assurances about the death penalty? How can that be?

Hello, it's called awaiting extradition! I think when you are being deported, you get a family pass to the CN tower.

Since we can't afford a vacation this year the wife and I are going to go across the border to the US, and then mail our ID home, and apply for refugee status so we can get the hotel getaway package in Scarberia.
