So why are you cheering stopping aid even if it's moonbats?
Aid? Or performative “symbolic” aid by a pack of entitled what-have-you’s that, without media attention, couldn’t be bothered? Which question are you asking me (?) or am I hearing your question through my own mental filter here?

Who or what are these narcissists really helping here? Do you think they ‘really’ think they’re helping the Palestinians (?) or themselves in their self-promotion that in the end will be Hamas-adjacent at best? Are their actions going to shorten or lengthen this conflict assuming it makes any difference whatsoever?

Personally, I think it’ll promote the Hamas agenda and drag this out longer to whose benefit? Not either the Palestinians or the Israelis, so…who’s behind door number three?
(YouTube & ‘But what?’: Greta Thunberg excuses Hamas terror with twisted rhetoric)
-right off the speaking points on her memorized cue cards. Sorry, but that answer wasn’t to the question she was asked.
-but…
(YouTube & ‘Intellectually and morally vapid’: Greta Thunberg trashed for message to Hamas)

Would Greta (& associates) sail for Gaza if they ‘really’ thought they might actually make it to Gaza and then have to ride it out until there until the conflict is resolved, in whatever matter that may be?

Apparently not wanting the negativity that would come with any association with Thunberg, the infamous terrorist organization sought to clarify that they had absolutely nothing to do with her and that any connection was entirely manufactured on Thunberg's part.

"Please do not lump us in with her," said Hamas spokesterrorist Abu Muhammad Akhtar. "We're completely fine with being viewed by everyone around the world as a bloodthirsty, murderous band of evil terrorists, but that's totally different from being connected with Greta Thunberg. We don't want any part of that."

This was the second time that Thunberg had declared her support for Palestinians by embarking on a seafaring mission to Gaza, leading the terrorists to come out publicly to make sure the world knew that they did not condone or support her statements or actions. "She does not represent us," Akhtar continued. "There's negative publicity, and then there's association with Greta Thunberg. While we're willing to be vilified by the global community, we draw the line at letting anyone think we're in league with her. That would be awful for our image."

At publishing time, Hamas had also released a follow-up statement clarifying that, though it had claimed responsibility for numerous other atrocities over several decades, it had nothing to do with Greta Thunberg's haircut.

I hope Israel blows the aid boat out of the water because its what moral and sane people do.

No matter how you feel about her, you'd best best pay attention to her entire generation because it's their world now.

We're spent, Israel dies with us. They don't want it.

Check the numbers, you'll shit.

This is what $300 Billion in military "aid" to Israel buys:

Wow, I hope they intercept the flotilla, confiscate the ships, pat the protestors on the heads, & put them all back on economy class flights to Europe, but to each their own.

For students identifying as “very conservative,” 85 per cent said they suspected they risked lower grades if they ever revealed what they believed.

Among the “very liberal” cohort, meanwhile, three quarters said they were “not at all” concerned that the free expression of their opinions would land them in trouble. Just 17 per cent of moderates said they are not concerned.
(“The data reveal that the students most comfortable sharing their views at Canadian universities identify as follows: liberal, secular, racialized, homosexual, gender-nonconforming,” reads an accompanying analysis. It notes that a mere 0.4 per cent of students met all five characteristics)

Yes, there is a documented trend of young American Jews turning away from Zionism, influenced by increased exposure to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through new media and travel, a growing discomfort with the tenets of Zionism conflicting with their liberal values of equality, and the rise of prominent anti-Zionist groups like Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP). This shift is marked by a generational change, with younger Jews often facing less resistance from their families and joining a growing solidarity movement with Palestinians.

Reasons for the Shift
Conflicting Values:
Many young Jews find it difficult to reconcile their liberal values of equality and justice with the principles of Zionism, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict and its impact on Palestinians.

Exposure to the Conflict:
Younger generations have greater access to diverse news sources and personal accounts, including travel to the region, which provides a more complex understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian narrative.

Shattered Worldview:
The foundational narrative of Israel as a safe haven clashes with observations of the ongoing destruction in Gaza, leading some young Jews to question the narratives they were raised with.

Activist Engagement:
The growth of anti-Zionist organizations and activism on college campuses provides a platform for young Jews to vocalize their critiques and participate in Palestine solidarity movements.

Evidence of the Trend
Pew Research Center Data:
A 2020 study showed that U.S. Jews under 30 had less emotional attachment to Israel than older generations.

Growing Anti-Zionist Groups:
Organizations like Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) have seen increased participation and have chapters across the U.S., advocating against Zionism.

Generational Shift in Activism:
Many young Jews are engaging in activism without the significant family and community resistance that older generations faced when questioning Zionism, indicating a normalization of anti-Zionist views within some younger Jewish communities.

Zionism is in its death throws.

August 7, 2025 – Canada’s move to recognize a Palestinian state has been welcomed by some and rejected by others – U.S. President Donald Trump being one of those occupying the latter view.

The Canadian government’s decision to change its position on this issue, regardless of its motivations, are aligned with the shifting of opinion among the Canadian population.

New data from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute finds three-in-five say that Canada should recognize a Palestinian state (61%), with the same number agreeing that Hamas must be removed for this to be a realistic path forward (63%).

This follows nearly two years of shifting sentiment which has found the Canadian public becoming more concerned about the plight of the Palestinian people in Gaza than the initial devastation faced by Israelis.

When the conflict began, Israel (28%) and “both sides equally” (31%) were chosen as the primary focus of Canadian sympathy, with 18 per cent choosing the Palestinians. That latter option has now doubled to 37 per cent, with 27 per cent saying both sides and one-in-five saying Israel (19%).1756906397136.png

A graph of different colored squares AI-generated content may be incorrect.

Much of this is driven by what Canadians see as a moral outrage – the humanitarian crisis that has been created. Amid widespread reports of starvation and hunger-related deaths, two-thirds (64%) now say that what they see is a moral outrage, rather than overblown (18%) or something they’re unsure about (18%).

Reportedly, 22,000 loaded aid trucks are awaiting passage into Gaza, leading some to accuse Israel of deliberately obstructing aid. Three-in-five Canadians (61%) agree with this characterization.

Just over half (52%) say that they believe Israel is committing genocide. This represents an 11-point increase compared to when Angus Reid Institute asked the question in February 2024.

In a statement to Sky News, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said: "The IDF enforces the security naval blockade on the Gaza Strip and is prepared for a wide range of scenarios, which it will act upon in accordance with the directives of the political echelon."

Thunberg said: "It's important that by doing so, by continuing this blockade, Israel is violating international law. And what we are trying to do is to use our rights to sail on international waters and to deliver humanitarian aid, which Israel is not allowed to block from coming in."
View attachment 30878
In 2007, after Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip, Israel imposed an indefinite blockade of Gaza that remains in place, on the grounds that Fatah and Palestinian Authority forces had fled the Strip and were no longer able to provide security on the Palestinian side. Israel has said the blockade is necessary to protect itself from Palestinian political violence and rocket attacks, and to prevent dual use goods from entering Gaza.

Security Council Resolution 1373, adopted on 28 September 2001 after the September 11 attacks on the United States, obliges all member states to prohibit making resources available to militant organizations. The Fourth Geneva Convention allows humanitarian assistance to be denied if there is a serious concern that it will be delivered to those who are not innocent civilians and create an advantage for the enemy.

Former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the United Nations Human Rights Council(UNHRC), and other human rights organizations have criticized the blockade. In 2011, a panel of UN experts concluded that the naval blockade of Gaza constituted collective punishment and in doing so violated international law, contradicting a previous UN investigation that declared it was legal.

The interception of the Madleen (Greta’s last publicity stunt) illustrates the difficult balance between humanitarian concerns and the application of the law of naval warfare. Although the Freedom Flotilla Coalition framed their voyage as a peaceful mission, international law governing blockades emphasizes the vessel’s destination rather than the nature of its cargo or hostile intent. Given the well-publicized and effectively enforced naval blockade, the Madleen’s attempt to breach it rendered the vessel subject to enforcement under the law of blockade. Israel’s measured, non-lethal enforcement actions appear consistent with the principles of necessity and proportionality.
Greta’s “round#2” is different from the above how?
Why are the media giving her so much attention; attention she doesn't deserve. That's why she's doing this shit!! Disgusting!

I knew the media would be all over this, & that’s why I posted stuff here about Greta. They will stick to the story for the duration of the boating adventure, and for the 2 to 3 days after they’ll get deported again, then it goes away until next time.

Da Meeja doesn't care if you love or hate a story. Long as you listen to/watch the adverts.

But let's not let that distract us from wailing about Da Meeja's OBLIGATION to report my opinion as fact!
Like this?:

😉Fifty to one: that is the “estimated” ratio of “pro-Palestinian” to “pro-Israel” online content. If you think you are seeing far more material favouring the Palestinian side — and, too often, the Hamas side — rest assured: you are. Online, Israel is getting its proverbial ass kicked.

There can be two reasons for this. One, a majority in the West now suddenly harbour anti-Israel and/or antisemitic attitudes. But that’s not what public opinion shows. Among older cohorts, in North America and Europe, the majority clearly support Israel’s right to exist within safe and secure borders. The majority support Israel’s right to defend itself.

The other, most realistic, reason: Hamas and its axis — Hezbollah, Houthis, its parent Iran, and its echo chambers in Russia and China — have developed a formidable propaganda machine. One that has out-performed Israel’s pitiful communications efforts, for years. One that has utterly dominated the communications landscape since the horrors of Oct. 7, 2023.

That, more than anything else, is why Hamas et al. are dominating online.

Then there’s a bunch of examples and specifics cited at the above link.

How are you measuring that? Number of comments, number of YouTube videos from somebody's basement, number of ugly girls sailing around?

Number of people dead?
I confirmed that with the first word in that newspaper article being the word “opinion” above the headline as in:
Da Meeja doesn't care if you love or hate a story. Long as you listen to/watch the adverts.

But let's not let that distract us from wailing about Da Meeja's OBLIGATION to report my opinion as fact!
…& used that post in #6,193 as an example. Or am I misunderstanding your question?

Dude states his opinion, in the media, presents his opinion with statements or facts to validate his opinion, on a “hot button topic” that will get clicks.

His opinion happens to coincide with mine in this case, but does he care that happens to have happened, or…that I and many others clicked onto his opinion piece whether they/we agree with it or not?

Is he, as a contributor for many outlets of legacy media, writing this in his basement? He could very well be. All the cool kids work from home now, or from their vacation spots, etc…& during the Trump/BidenHarris race, he worked from several different hotel rooms on the campaign trail and was still involved in YouTube videos.

(I believe he was working for the Democrats in the last US Federal election)

Wait, are you asking me how I’m measuring that 50:1 ratio that I copy&pasted from the above story? If so, I didn’t measure it, I copy&pasted the opinion piece, as an example of your statement in post #6192.

What his methodology is with respect to coming up to the ratio he used in his opinion piece…the link is above, or you can google the headline that I took a snapshot of in the same post so that it would show the word “opinion” above the headline. I don’t know what his methodology is, but you might spot what I missed.

Despite the fact that this won't happen with Trump's name on it...

This is also the most likely idea Israel's current Government has for the area, because why not.
Is it the most likely idea Israel’s current Gov’t has for the area? Because why not? Is that what it says in the link you posted?

“It was not clear if the plan reflects US policy, and neither the White House nor the State Department responded to the Washington Post’s request for comment. But the prospectus seem to reflect Donald Trump’s previously stated ambition to “clean out” Gaza and redevelop it.

Anyway…Netanyahu's office reiterated that the war in Gaza against Hamas would only end if all hostages were released, Hamas was disarmed, the strip was demilitarized, Israel established security control over the enclave, and an alternative civilian administration was established, so same consistent story.

So Hamas reiterated on Wednesday that it is ready for a comprehensive Gaza deal through which all Israeli hostages are released in exchange for the release of an agreed upon number of Palestinian prisoners?…so sort of 1/5th of what they need to end what was started again Oct 7th 2023.

The group's remarks came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump called on Hamas to release all 20 hostages. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office criticized Hamas' comments in a statement. "Unfortunately, this is yet another spin by Hamas with nothing new in it," it said.

Hamas in August agreed to a 60-day ceasefire proposal with Israel that includes the return of half (?) the hostages held in Gaza and Israel's release of some Palestinian prisoners?? An Egyptian official source said the proposal accepted by Hamas included a suspension of Israeli military operations for 60 days and outlined a framework for a comprehensive deal to end the nearly two-year-old conflict?? So 0/5 of what needs to happen to end what was started again Oct 7th 2023? Right…

Netanyahu said days later that Israel would immediately resume negotiations for the release of all hostages held in Gaza and an end to the war, but on terms acceptable to Israel…being that the war in Gaza against Hamas would only end if all hostages were released, Hamas was disarmed, the strip was demilitarized, Israel established security control over the enclave, and an alternative civilian administration was established, so here we are.

What was the deal in August of 2024? Did it include Hamas stepping aside as Govt and all holocaustages released?

Who killed it? Ben-Gvir or Smotrich? Pick one or both. No maps, no propaganda bullshit. No Oct 7. No Holocaust. No Holocaustages rhetoric.

Who killed it, what was in it and what the fuck happened?

I didn't know 'bout the coral there. Found this though, too, when looking it up.

And a more recent paper: https://academic.oup.com/pnasnexus/article/4/3/pgaf049/8046449

So looks like the Red Sea can deal with coral issues better due to water temp tolerance in the coral itself.

Interesting stuff to be sure; hopefully they can keep it preserved for other places where there's coral die off.
