A new comprehensive global survey published Tuesday by the Pew Research Center reveals widespread negative sentiment toward Israel and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The survey, conducted in 24 countries among more than 28,000 respondents, found that in all but two countries—Kenya and Nigeria—Netanyahu's approval failed to exceed one-third.

Attitudes toward Israel as a whole were similarly critical: in 20 of the surveyed countries, a majority expressed an unfavorable view of the country. In the United States, 53% of respondents said they hold a negative opinion of Israel—an 11-point increase since 2022. In the United Kingdom, the percentage of those with an unfavorable view rose from 44% in 2013 to 61% today.

The data shows that younger people in many high-income countries—including Australia, Canada, France, Poland, South Korea and the U.S.—are more likely than older generations to view Israel negatively. The same trend is seen among those who identify as politically left-leaning, who consistently express more critical views of Israel than those on the political right.

The 10 countries with the most negative views of Israel were: Turkey (93%), Indonesia (80%), Japan (79%), the Netherlands (78%), Spain (75%), Sweden (75%), Australia (74%), Greece (72%), Italy (66%) and Germany (64%).

This really isn't a surprise considering antisemitism is on the rise just like it was in the 1930"s and the media is so biased against all Jews, it's not surprising that most people don't actually know or understand what's going on there! The right to survive is at stake!!

Well, doesn’t look like the Greta Floatilla is going to make landfall in Gaza today (Saturday) as predicted, but at least they don’t have to worry about overflights by the Greek Coastguard at this point I guess.

I wonder if they’ll divert to Egypt, where there are actual ports that they can land in, and then approach Gaza where there are actual border crossing to Gaza with their supplies?

It’s not as flashily dramatic, but it’s a way that their whatever their cargo is might actually reach Gaza if that’s the actual goal of this flotilla.

Had to google that, as I assumed it was going to be some kinda German food that I somehow missed trying in the last 55 years.

Ok, didn’t realize the first vid was a short, & it shows that Bibi a couple decades younger stating that he had no doubt that Saddam Hussein (Iraq in 2002) had nuclear weapons. That’s it, beyond stating that if Iraq has nuclear stuff, then terrorists could then get their hands on nuclear stuff.

Ok, the second video was a short too. Didn’t know. Same Bibi but couple decades older, and wearing one of those Jewish beanie hat things, saying that Israel is faced with those seeking it’s destruction again, and if necessary, they will stand alone to face that threat. Ok.

I’m assuming the implied homework assignment is to look back a couple of decades to see if Saddam Hussein in Iraq actually had nuclear weapons or materials at that point (?) and that that’s the sole reason the the US (& others) invaded Iraq (again) circa 2002? Right? So if disproven that war could be blamed solely on Benjamin Netanyahu, etc…?

So, spit balling here, but after 9/11, the US needed to stomp on “somebody” in the Middle East to demonstrate their military superiority & supremacy in an effort to dissuade further terrorism attacks…& though 16/21 (so 3/4’s-ish) of the terrorists involved in 9/11 where from Saudi Arabia, the Saudi’s had a lot of oil and where US allies so they where crossed out for the stomping demonstration. Am I warm?




American & British intelligence where “convinced” that Saudi Arabia had a lot of oil and was sort of their ally at that point that Iraq had chemical & biological & maybe even nuclear weapons (and wasn’t an American or British ally at that point), and that it was located in the Middle East, and that defectors from Iraq claimed that Saddam was a bad guy doing bad things, etc…& that he (& Iraq) would work as a scapegoat for punishing “someone” for 9/11, and it worked so well when they invaded Iraq in 1990-ish that they could call it a win in a short amount of time again.

Oh, and Bibi in that video as a British and American ally playing his role in supporting their justification for not stomping on Saudi Arabia in a “Look over There!!” statement, that I’m assuming also fit into the Israeli agenda of not wanting to keep using their cartoon umbrella against those pesky “SCUD” missiles, etc…

(maybe it was just the memory of the scud missile attacks from a decade earlier?)

Pretty much. We were uncomfortable with how Iraq's power was growing, so given a reason for war, they were a pretty good target for a trim & shave.

I get it. It was a target of the time based on the situation on hand, with Saudi Arabia being a thing that existed, & OPEC being a thing that had to be considered, and still having all those maps & plans on hand from 1990….it sorta made sense.

Somebody had to be an example for 9/11 future deterrent, & Iraq was in the Middle East, and Saddam Hussein was legitimately a world class Dick, and his offspring where potentially even worse if they’d survived to inherit Iraq from their papa. I mean, Iran should be thanking JD Vance right now but here we are. “You’re welcome Iran!
