TDS? More like Trump Reality Syndrome.

As in I get the 'reality' of what a Trump presidency is going to be like. People like you who are willfully ignorant to it, or just don't give a shit, are part of the problem.
We're not gonna be the 51st state ffs. IF Trump did that he would go down in US history as the man who ensured a Republican never got elected to the Presidency again. Canada is predominantly left-of-center. Even most Canadian conservatives are more liberal than the US Democrats.

Do you know why Puerto Rico isn't a US state yet? Because there's no corresponding US territory that is predominantly right of center that's in a position to become a state. No way Trump is going to annex Canada and make us a state.

Now, Greenland and the Panama Canal? Those are different animals entirely. Greenland is more about positioning their power against Russia in the north than anything else. And the Panama Canal? Well, there are Chinese owned "businesses" on both ends of the canal. Of course the media will tell you that they are not Chinese but Honk Kong-based businesses. But we ALL know what happened to Honk Kong. It is fully and completely within the CCP's clutches. It is in fact part of communist China now.

Well old Donald is telling the world that he is going to make America great again. He has this thought, that if their country can produce products instead of buying them from abroad, he will create more employment. He has said in the last week that the USA (hereafter referred to UASS) that there is a trade imbalance between Canada and the Uass. Yes there is, and one thing that his simple brain does not compute is that Uass has about 8.3 times more people than Canada. If you have more people, it takes more products and even foot to service the increased population. I can’t figure out why someone with more brains than old Donnie, has not told him that. One of the things that should be brought out is that Uass people demand things CHEAP, and their economy cannot build it cheap for them.

One more thing that old Donnie can brag about making happen is that Soybees should be cheaper for the Uass citizens as he has succeeded in blocking sale of some 83? 187? Billion dollars of sales to China, with his SMART negotiating skills, and we hear China’s Retaliation of no more exports to Uass. That should make the price of Soybeans cheaper for Uass citizens, thus giving him the fact that that food price is down, due to oversupply. There, see I fulfilled my campaign promise He can say.

Oh, we cannot forget that he will get all of these products up and running, the first day. I think I will look outside on the 21 st of January and look for flying Pigs first.
On noes!!! No more toxic soybeans from China? I guess that's a huge burn on the US??

We're not gonna be the 51st state ffs.

When it comes to Trump, never say never.

Is it LIKELY? No.

But it's not 100% certain.

Why? Because it's Trump and now he's got his 2nd Term, he can get away with shit he couldn't in the first.

IF Trump did that he would go down in US history as the man who ensured a Republican never got elected to the Presidency again.

Do you remember when Trump told Christians they'd never have to worry about voting again?

Yeah...

Canada is predominantly left-of-center. Even most Canadian conservatives are more liberal than the US Democrats.

That doesn't mean there aren't people who want to be part of the US. Lots in Alberta, even lots in the Maritimes.

Do you know why Puerto Rico isn't a US state yet? Because there's no corresponding US territory that is predominantly right of center that's in a position to become a state.

Yep.

Well, that and just racism.

No way Trump is going to annex Canada and make us a state.

That doesn't mean he won't try.

And doesn't mean some provinces (coughalbertacough) wouldn't step up to join ASAP. Which would break Canada up. Which would be just as if not more of a problem.

Now, Greenland and the Panama Canal? Those are different animals entirely.

Really?

Greenland is more about positioning their power against Russia in the north than anything else.

Yes, that's true. Greenland is the Eastern Entrance to the northern seaway.

Imagine if they had Canada too...

And of course there's that pesky fact that Greenland doesn't belong to the US but rather another totally sovereign country. Damn those European countries.

And the Panama Canal? Well, there are Chinese owned "businesses" on both ends of the canal.

Oh FFS.

Of course the media will tell you that they are not Chinese but Honk Kong-based businesses. But we ALL know what happened to Honk Kong. It is fully and completely within the CCP's clutches. It is in fact part of communist China now.

Your racism is amazing today.

But you are right, HK is part of China and China is breaking agreements left right and center over it. So yes, it'd be a hell of a concern.

For Panama.

The US has NO claims on it at all. Nada. Diplomatically they could put pressure on Panama over any concerns, but other than that, they've SFA over anything to do with it.

So no, there IS no "different stories" for Greenland or Panama.

“That statement is very simple, I said, ‘Vote for me, you’re not gonna have to do it ever again,’” Trump told Ingraham. “It’s true, because we have to get the vote out. Christians are not known as a big voting group, they don’t vote. And I’m explaining that to them. You never vote. This time, vote. I’ll straighten out the country, you won’t have to vote any more, I won’t need your vote any more, you can go back to not voting.”

Ingraham pointed out that many Democrats had interpreted his comments over the weekend to mean there would never be another election again. Trump responded that he had not heard that and continued to talk about how lots of Christians tend to not vote.

“Christians do not vote well. They vote in very small percentages. Why? I don’t know. Maybe they’re disappointed in things that are happening,” Trump continued. “I say, ‘You don’t vote.’ I’m saying, ‘Go out – you must vote.’

“You have to vote” in the 5 November election, Trump continued, calling it the most important presidential race in US history. “After that you don’t have to worry about voting any more. I don’t care, because we’re going to fix it, the country will be fixed and we won’t even need your vote any more because, frankly, we will have such love.

“And I think everybody understood it.” (except Commie Nazis)

Ingraham pressed the former president, asking him, “But you will leave office after four years?”

Trump responded, “Of course.”

He added: “By the way … I did last time.”

Blah blah blah. Put it to a national vote and there would be an overwhelming no.
Yep.

Well, that and just racism.
Democrats are racist? Huh.
That doesn't mean he won't try.

Separation requires 50% +1. Not likely to happen.

So you approve of imperialism as long as it isn't American imperialism.
Realized how stupid you are?
Your racism is amazing today
Not nearly as amazing as yours. You just equated consternation about the CCP with racism towards the Chinese. Get bent ya fucking moron. In fact you sound JUST like the CCP. Or are you trying to suggest that the people of Honk Kong aren't Chinese? Which of course would also be totally wrong on your part.
But you are right, HK is part of China and China is breaking agreements left right and center over it. So yes, it'd be a hell of a concern.

For Panama.
Yeah, it's not like anyone else uses the canal, right? It's not like it's not an important piece of global infrastructure, right?
The US has NO claims on it at all. Nada. Diplomatically they could put pressure on Panama over any concerns, but other than that, they've SFA over anything to do with it.

So no, there IS no "different stories" for Greenland or Panama.
Here, do some reading, if you're capable of comprehending what you read. The concerns about the Panama Canal isn't just some crazy shit made up by Trump.
China influence over Panama Canal has been a US concern for years

The House Foreign Affairs Committee published in 2022 a "regional snapshot" of growing Chinese influence in Central America, which pointed directly to the Panama Canal as a hot spot for CCP investment.

In the snapshot, the committee warned that "China is increasing its strategic influence over the Panama Canal through various infrastructure projects and a Chinese-backed consortium controls ports on both ends of the canal."

"Advancements by Chinese state-owned shipping companies, investment groups, and construction companies in projects around the Panama Canal threaten to further expand China’s influence over the canal’s operations at the expense of Panama’s sovereignty and democratic institutions," the committee document stated.

So yeah, there IS a difference. Of course your problem is geopolitics goes straight over your smooth-brained head.

Wonder what the Alta premier promised Trump on her recent visit to Mara Lago.....

Interesting to see how many would want CDA become the 51 US state. If they are so unhappy in CDA........just MOVE THERE.. as opposed to selling out this country.

She promised more pipelines and open to investment. She was at Mar-a-Lago for 2 days meeting with not just Trump but his team.

Danielle Smith, the Premier of Alberta, and Enbridge Inc. signed an agreement in January 2025 to increase the province's oil and gas production and exports. The agreement involves the creation of a working group to evaluate opportunities for transport, storage, and market access.
What's in the agreement?
The agreement will focus on streamlining regulations and permitting approvals
The agreement will expand opportunities along Enbridge's 29,000-kilometer network
The agreement will increase the amount of oil Alberta produces and exports to the United States

In the works babycakes. Why stay in Canada to make less and pay more? Ill send you a postcard.

There would be a lot of unhappy people in QUebec and OntariOWE when they found out Alberta is no longer paying their bills.
The only real benefits to becoming the 50-60th states is no more king chuckles the clown, and having a dollar that is worth a dollar.

I remember what HE said. You're telling me the words that the media put in his mouth.

Sounds like he told Christians he won't have to vote again in four more years.

So, care to retract that?

Blah blah blah. Put it to a national vote and there would be an overwhelming no.

I'm not denying that.

But really, Jin, read what I said. If you can that is.

Democrats are racist? Huh.

Anyone can be racist - hell, IMO everyone is racist, it's how a person deals with their racism that's the issue.

But it's Racism in part that keeps Puerto Rico out of the US.

But hey, here's facts for you too:

Or are you going to deny that, too?

Separation requires 50% +1. Not likely to happen.

I'm well aware of what it takes for Separation.

That doesn't mean that, again, Alberta wouldn't take the chance to join the US ASAP if they could.

Imagine if you had a brain.

I do! And one functioning better than yours.

I also have a better sense of consequences too of things, like if the US were to gain Greenland and Canada.

So you approve of imperialism as long as it isn't American imperialism.

WTF are you talking about? I just said Greenland belongs to Denmark, it wasn't anything stating whether I approve or not.

Realized how stupid you are?

No, rather how absolutely willfully clueless you are.

LOL!

There you go, assuming/reaching again!

Funfact, Jin, I have ALWAYS stated I hate/distrust the Chinese, mostly because of their Government.

I did not "equate consternation about the CCP with racism towards the Chinese", where the hell do you get that? Or is it more imaginary bullshit you're pulling out of your ass?

So let's clear a few things. Your calling Hong Kong "Honk Kong" is you being racist.

I never ONCE suggested the people of Hong Kong weren't Chinese. In fact, I said:
"But you are right, HK is part of China and China is breaking agreements left right and center over it. So yes, it'd be a hell of a concern." Now, I get you aren't too bright lately so I guess I should clarify for you. HK is part of China, the country, making it Chinese, because Britain's rule over it ended. There were agreements in place that after that rule, HK was to be given certain allowances/agreements despite being brought into the fold of China. China has been breaking those allowances/agreements. So it's a concern.

Do you get it now, or do we need to do one word sentences for you?

Yeah, it's not like anyone else uses the canal, right?

Didn't say that; fact is, it's important as hell, and I even know why!

It's not like it's not an important piece of global infrastructure, right?

It IS! I'm so glad you know this too! You get a gold star for being a good boy!

Jinny... thank you for proving my last comment.

I didn't say, nor did I imply, that it isn't made up shit.

Fact is I'm not shocked at all that China is there; China is fucking everywhere, and that's a goddamn problem. I have a huge issue with the world dealing with China and thinking it's great to do so.

Since you missed the rest of what I said:

"The US has NO claims on it at all. Nada. Diplomatically they could put pressure on Panama over any concerns, but other than that, they've SFA over anything to do with it."

What TRUMP is talking about is ARMED or ECONOMIC to TAKE OVER the Canal.

And like his telling Christians they won't have to vote for him in four years because they will "Fix it", I saw clips from THIS conference too. Not media selected ones, actual clips.

It's the same one where he said he'd use Economic force against Canada.

THAT is the fucking issue. Regardless of whether China is there or not, the US has NO RIGHT to threaten a sovereign nation like Panama, OR Greenland/Denmark.

Seriously, why the fuck would you be for this shit?

So yeah, there IS a difference. Of course your problem is geopolitics goes straight over your smooth-brained head.

Rather YOU are the one that doesn't get geopolitics - and you prove so continually, over and over.

And as I've said before: when it comes to Trump, you CAN'T guarantee what he'll do. I would rather err on the side of caution and take all the shittalk he does seriously, than pretend it's just bluster and bullshit.

Because the last guy that the world though was 'just' saying shit ended pushing us into the Second World War. Even if Trump himself is only full of shit, there are those around him, and listen to him, that think every word he speaks is the Word of fucking God and will act on it. We saw that, too, and still see it.

You're a fool if you don't realize any of this at all.

Feed your cats.

When people who normally dont vote go vote to purposely push out a sitting leader will they need to vote twice to remove that leader or just once then go back to not voting?

Its about to happen to Trudeau. When Trudeau was voted in by pot heads who normally dont vote, did they vote again to get pot legalized again after it was legalized? Fortunately those who dont vote wont have to vote against him because he quit. Does that mean he wont leave after quitting

Its like the tariff thing. We upped our game to appease Grumpy Don, so why are gums still flapping after conditions were met and approved by the incoming Homan?

Nobody fucking listens or reads any longer?
