Most people blasphemed in this time and even denied God, why?
They see the God worshipers [Muslims in particular] in bad condition, but the ungodly and atheists in good condition... this is a great temptation and trial of people in this time especially (and in other times also).
So what bring the immediate God's punishment, might be:
1- The presence of God's messenger: if the messenger is present and people deny him face to face: he warns them before the coming of their stated punishment: if they respond to him, then OK; but if they do not respond and do not believe that God is One Almighty and Most Gracious, they will be terminated. God's messengers like Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammed, and ... Al-Mehdi.
2- If people kill the messenger or expel ( or banish) him, they will be destroyed.
3- If an objective material miracle is worked by the messenger: like the staff of Moses, the she-camel of Salih, and the miracle of the Mehdi and people deny it and disbelieve it and may work to destroy that miracle ... their punishment will be immediate.
4- The transgression and wrongdoing: if people work clearly and frankly against God's commandment, and transgress on others deliberately in savage ways killing children and women and elderly without mercy, and their motives are against God and His revealed Quran and other books ... they then deserve the punishment of God, and none of people whatsoever can prevent God's dealing from reaching the transgressor and the wrongdoer.
5- If one supports the transgressor and the wrongdoer, he will have his share of the punishment.
I can prove these points from the Quran, the word of God.
And what prevent or postpone the immediate God's punishment, might be:

If the Zionists of Tel Aviv deal kindly with the Palestinians and desist and refrain from their savage transgression on Gaza, and turn the page to kindness and good relations... things may change and better outcome will be for all and for the Israelite themselves.

Your first statement is in error. Hamas WILL NEVER concede to Israel which is why they need to be destroyed. This "war" isn't about land; it isn't about religion; it's about destroying Israel & all Jews period. There isn't any other reason & the insanity of this whole thing is that the Palestinians are being "used" by their leadership & brainwashed from very young ages to hate the Jews.
Israel is helpful to Palestinians as W5 (I think) interviewed Palestinians a few years ago in a documentary & most had nothing bad to say about Israel - in fact, most of the people interviewed appreciated what Israel does for them DESPITE their horrible leadership and not because of them. Now either they were lying OR the media is lying about what is happening in Gaza. Either way, we're not getting even close to the truth simply by denying what is happening isn't. Both sides lose no matter what so in order to cut the head off of the snake, they need to be destroyed so EVERYONE can live in peace, be free to do as they wish. Unfortunately, that will never happen under Hamas' rule because their hate is so visceral. I'm willing to be NO ONE in the West understands how visceral the hatred is because we've never experienced it.
