Uhm…no.

Formula1 on a Canadian City Street. Just off the top of my head I’m gonna say nope.

1) If the tires project out farther than the body of the vehicle then nope.
2) if no horn then nope.
3) no headlights? Then nope.
4) no tail lights or signal lights or license plate light or back up lights or marker lights…??? Then nope. Where would a license plate get mounted on a Formula One vehicle anyway?
5) functional horn? If nope then nope.
6) no mudflaps? Then nope
7) Government approved (not track approved) bumpers and bumper inserts and crumple zones and so on and so forth? Then nope & nope & nope.
8) Then insurance. If an insurance company is not going to insure this vehicle to be on the road in Moose Knuckle, SK, then it can’t be on the road.
9) The tires, though they would be something incredibly freaky beyond a Z rating…. They’re probably not street legal with the lack of tread.

There’s probably a whole lot more but then we’re gonna get into the decibel level from the sound it emits, and a minimum height requirement I’m assuming, and then the approved functional climate controls to utilize this thing in our climate will be an issue.
The one person on CanCon capable of understanding an analogy (and apparently aware of the requirements for a street-legal automobile).

Well done, sir.

Look, in the end, the 'good guys with the guns' were too chickenshit to go in against the 'bad guy with the gun' because the bad guy not only had the weapon he had, but he had body armor.

They would not be able to kill his ass without injury/death to themselves.

But that is what they signed up for, the possibility that they could be hurt/die defending people.

In this case, defending kids.

How many kids died because the cops WAITED? And would have kept waiting if not for the border patrol guys coming in in DEFIANCE of local cops to take the killer out?

We're talking this incident, and mass shootings in general.

Take whataboutism and shove it up your ass, or start a new thread about it.

If the death of these kids was anything important there'd be focus on trying to STOP this as much as possible. Sadly that's not happening, and it's not fucking surprising because so long as those kids were in the womb, they matter; the moment they exit and take their first breath, who gives a fuck.

What would have been the reaction if the cops went in immediately but a child was injured in the cross fire?

So you think the cops would have been that incompetent that going in would have resulted in more children dying?

That's not helping the case of the cops here.

The White Hats had body armour also. I think I read this on this thread, & I think you posted it. It was a picture and it showed the local police department all posing together wearing their body armour and being Congratulated because they all had what was called “Level 4” Armour.

Level IV is the highest armor rating under NIJ standards. Armor plates in this level are tested to take a single hit from an armor-piercing rifle up to . 30-06 M2AP with a mass of 166 grains and velocity of 2880 ft/s and large-caliber rounds.

I too have been wondering what would have happened is CBP didn’t arrive when they did….

Well, it’s all a matter of everybody covering their ass at this point, from the garbage collector to the president I’m assuming.

It Will be interesting to see how this does shake out as I am assuming whatever police union these dudes are in are going to make sure none of them lose their jobs over this….Thin Blue Line, etc…But that’s from the outside looking in and who knows??

And now it's coming out the previously 'opened door' was actually closed, that the teacher who had propped it open closed it when she heard a shooter was on the premises, but it didn't lock. So now they're looking into why it didn't lock.

That teacher likely will forever have guilt, but 'leaving the door open' was not one of them.

The Uvalde Police Department is pleased to announce that we have completed the process, and been awarded grant funds through the Office of the Governor to outfit EVERY Uvalde Police Officer with Level 4 body armor. This important piece of legislation provided funding to equip police officers with body armor rated to stop rifle rounds. In 2017, Senate Bill 12 was passed into law. The $23 million Rifle-Resistant Body Armor Grants were awarded to 453 jurisdictions around the state. Thanks goes out to those who supported Senate Bill 12 and everyone who supports those who work to keep us safe. #BlueLivesMatter 🚔

this is what you posted to go with the picture above that I quoted from page 12.

Some poor janitor is going to get shanked over this “door not locking” thing…?

Yeah, they were 'trained', but did nothing.

That they wore body armor didn't seem to matter to them. I have heard some people suggest that it was fear of the gun that kept them from going on.

TBH, who knows what the real reason was why they didn't go in, and why those already on scene inside the school did not do as trained. That "they believed he was holed up alone" is absolute BS, with all the proof of calls coming from the kids inside.

And one way to look at this, this situation is PROOF that this gun of weapon - AR-15 and look alikes - are seen even by cops as weapons of mass destruction/death, fear and they should NOT be allowed to be owned/acquired by civilians what so ever.

It was originally a teacher who propped the door open, so I've read and understand.

Whether it'll be a janiter or maintenance man, who knows. FFS I know some of the locks at our hospital suck ass because of the continual abuse/misuse over the course of days, months, and years without proper maintenance from knowledgable people. I can only imagine what it's like for schools where money for such things never comes regularly.
