Fact. I did it for a few years. All the roadside debris. Sometimes some land clearing debris too.
He would be better off putting a cap on useless government travel. That at least would be not only good for the economy but good for taxpayers as well.
Trudeau is a bloody ass and we should have put it down in the last election - but no, there are Canadians who actually want government to:
1. Censor speech
2. Stop all O&G so that we can all freeze in the winter
3. Keep spending money we don't have so that costs rise incrementally until we starve to death
4. Keep pushing nonsensical "pronoun" crap & a bazillion "genders"
5. Keep pushing racist ideology to determine who is and isn't "eligible" for certain things
6. ESG will be instituted in all things including banking, insurance, business et al. So if it's determined that you're not "green" enough, you will not be able to function in the society that is being created. You will be an outcast & you likely won't even know why. (Not unlike what f/b and google do when canceling posts - they just tell you that you can no longer post but won't give you a reason (or at least a logical one).
That's what the world is coming to now and it's disgusting. People need to wake bloody up to see what's happening and it's NOT GOOD! How do we make people understand that Marxism isn't good - it's evil. Millions of people have lost their lives living under Marxism and that's what we want? Seriously?
It's frustrating, that's for sure. What is it about "New World Order" or "Agenda 21" or "Globalism" that people don't or refuse to understand? Do they not realize that they won't be able to decide for themselves what their lives will be like? Do they not realize that someone will be telling them what to do, say or think (like gov'ts are now about Covid & Mask Mandates) that this is only the beginning and that we will eventually lose EVERYTHING? Do they not realize that the goal is, by 2030, that NO ONE WILL OWN ANYTHING? No home ownership, no vehicles allowed unless it's electric, doing away with "cash" to better track your activities etc.?
We really need to wake up to these facts. Large corporations are in cahoots with governments all over the world and between them both, we will all become slaves - except for the very wealthy who will do well under this system (until they don't).

“We’ll cap oil and gas sector emissions today and ensure they decrease tomorrow at a pace and scale needed to reach net zero by 2050,” Trudeau said this week in Glasgow, Scotland.
He boasted that Canada was the first (Only?) major oil and gas producer to bring in hard emissions caps and encourage other producing countries to do the same?
It’s doubtful they will. OPEC nations are being asked to boost production by none other than U.S. President Joe Biden — the guy Trudeau can’t meet with — and China continues to boost its coal use.
Canada could be helping to reduce China’s emissions by selling them and India our natural gas as a replacement for coal, but that’s not on the Trudeau agenda.
Their goal is less fossil fuels from Canada, period. Not that Trudeau’s commitments at COP26 were enough for Elizabeth May.The off-again, on-again leader of the Green party was quick to complain that Trudeau wasn’t shutting down Canada’s oil industry fast enough.
She wants the federal government to bring in a cap on oil production for Canada as a way to lower emissions. Trudeau’s new environment minister and former Greenpeace activist Steven Guilbeault explained the federal government can’t do that because provinces are in charge of natural resources under the constitution.
You know he’d like to do that though — Guilbeault would shut them down tomorrow if he could.
That’s not idle speculation. The man was part of a group organized to stop the “tarsands” that took a lot of money from American billionaires and foundations to support their work. This is the thinking of the woke elite who run much of Canada: an industry that provides funding for many of the government programs they run simply isn’t needed.

Excluding Quebec's hydro from the calculations is the reason Quebec is considered "have not" - they're actually a "have" province which is why so many people are ticked off about the amount of money they receive from the "have" provinces while they refuse to acknowledge that oil & gas are what makes this country what it is. That is what is paying for schools, hospitals, etc. Once the oil & gas are cancelled, lets just see what hydro does for those of us going without fossil fuels. Bet they won't "share" or the cost will be prohibitive. Maybe they'll invent solar panels that work in the dark and windmills that won't freeze in the winter????
Quebec should be paying into the pot as well. Unless we get leadership with intestinal fortitude, nothing will change. Governments, for whatever reason, seem to be afraid of Quebec because they seem to be able to get whatever they want.

California recently passed a law that prohibits fossil fuel engines from being built and/or used in CA. They are no longer allowed and while it's in effect now, I believe that the full brunt comes into fruition by 2030 which means if you have them now, you'll have to ensure they're gone by 2030.
Does that mean celebrities can no longer fly their private jets or cruise in their mega yachts?Or worse lose use of their expensive imported sports cars?
They’ll just have to make some small adjustments to their lifestyles is all.
Their yachts will have to have masts & sails & rigging & a large crew. Their sports cars will be drawn by horses, etc…& they can use steam powered aero-planes….that’s realistic right? Reminds me of that Jim Hartford song…..
They're not talking downstream emissions, are they ? Just the emissions produced during extraction and refining ? Sure, a big challenge to producers to clean up their act, but they're not being told to limit production are they ?
