UN-Backed Great Reset Turns Off Texas Power

I find it interesting that the most pro oil, pro Energy state in the US can't handle unexpected weather.

It's almost like the government of the state didn't focus on having hits electrical grid up to a standard where it could handle changes in weather patterns or something...

But it's not their fault! Nah, it's those damned Libs or the Gays or something.

Wonder if they'll ask Biden for help...

A couple of points from the article:

“The ERCOT grid has collapsed in exactly the same manner as the old Soviet Union,” said Hirs. “It limped along on underinvestment and neglect until it finally broke under predictable circumstances.

“For more than a decade, generators have not been able to charge what it costs them to produce electricity,” said Hirs. “If you don’t make a return on your money, how can you keep it up? It’s like not taking care of your car. If you don’t change the oil and tires, you can’t expect your car to be ready to evacuate, let alone get you to work.”

And then:

The hit to power generation came as frigid weather froze wind turbines and forced outages among natural gas and other power plants. Most of the power knocked offline came from thermal sources, Woodfin said, particularly natural gas.

So it wasn't the wind turbines alone that caused the power to fail but moreso the natural gas.

Oh, and for anyone who thinks this is a 'rare' event...

“The year 2011 was a miserable cold snap and there were blackouts,” said Hirs. “It happened before and will continue to happen until Texas restructures its electricity market.”

After 2011, Texas should have done their grid to withstand such cold snaps and unexpected weather. They didn't. This is all on the last and current Government, not "liberals" or "the green new deal" or whatever.

Thankfully the friend I have in Texas is doing okay; her and her family are warm despite the cold. She was so excited to post a video about the snow though; it was cute.

So Flossie, how are you dealing with the freeze at your house? Still luring in hot children into your van with the chocolate covered roaches?

Yes it is. I'd explain it to you but you also believe Texas is freezing because of wind turbines 😂
Actually it's because the clean burning coal plants were shut down because of the O'BUM HEAD fakenews, green,( soros likes green), 2030, greta reset agenda.
;)
It's pretty easy to show that wind turbines are NOT a suitable source of power IN REALITY...where YOU don't live.

Obama EPA War on Coal to Shut 200+ Coal-Fired Plants, Devastate Economy

President Obama, however, has taken the path of the most extreme environmental radicals and declared war on coal. Since he has not been able to get Congress to enact legislation to destroy the coal industry, he is unconstitutionally using the EPA to regulate coal into extinction...

...If Congress does not restrain the EPA’s regulatory binge, Americans will be hit not only with much higher electricity prices, but also with brownouts and blackouts, especially during the cold winter months and hot summer spells, when heaters and air conditioners put the squeeze on power grids. Warnings of potential brownouts and the need for the public to ease up on air conditioning, as issued recently in Boston and New York, will become commonplace if coal is banished as an energy source....

I can see why critters like you might not need drugs though.

Obama was just like Biden and all his dead brain FAKE voters, an enemy of ALL actual REAL people. Also, It's likely his few live voters are among the frozen dead...being obviously too stupid to survive reality.

Texas Wind Turbines Freeze, Leaving Millions Without Power

Everyone is an "environmentalist" until reality sets in and your family begin to freeze.

Is your house capable of handling a Manitoba winter? Why not?
