The latest numbers of confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases in Canada as of 4:00 a.m. on April 5, 2020:
There are 14,018 confirmed and presumptive cases in Canada.
_ Quebec: 6,997 confirmed (including 75 deaths, 306 resolved)
_ Ontario: 3,630 confirmed (including 94 deaths, 1,219 resolved)
_ British Columbia: 1,203 confirmed (including 38 deaths, 673 resolved)

Only surgical masks — rather than the N95 masks at the centre of the 3M dispute — will be on board the plane from China, Anand's office said.
The federal government said earlier this week it had already ordered 65 million N95 masks, which provide a higher degree of protection against COVID-19 than ones coming from China.
The prime minister said that the federal government has now "leased a warehouse in China" to collect and distribute supplies more efficiently.
"We are also turning towards Canadian manufacturers [given] the tremendous effort that Canadian companies are putting in to develop made-in-Canada products, PPE and medical supplies," Trudeau said, mentioning that those supplies could also be sent to other countries who need them.

The Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization―International Vaccine Centre (VIDO-InterVac) at the University of Saskatchewan has been operating for decades, working on the SARS and MERS viruses, and successfully developing coronavirus vaccines for animals ― though none yet for humans.
In terms of getting government funding, their work was often a tough sell, CBC News reports, but the unprecedented disruption of COVID-19 has changed all that. The federal government announced a $23-million funding injection into the facility in March, where up to 30 per cent of staff are now reportedly working on COVID-19.
The centre’s CEO, Volker Gerdts, sounds very optimistic about vaccines VIDO-InterVac is currently testing in animals. He told CJWW radio in Saskatoon that he is confident they will have a working version, and other researchers involved in the project said at the end of March it was weeks away from early human trials.

Question. If CheezWhiz said nothing and Anericans found out masks were going to Canada what would be the outcome be with the public?
If Canada were exporting masks to the US while needed in Canada how would you react?

CheezWhiz does everything "with music" meaning he puts on as big of a show as possible.
