Well then ask Trudeau why he sent out much needed supplies to China.. ;)

A government's first priority is the wellbeing of its people. Trump, quite rightly, wants to save masks for his own people.

Likewise, Britain - home to some of the world's biggest pharmaceutical companies - has currently stopped exporting drugs, so that those drugs can be used only by the British people.

I can't see the problem.

I'll ask him after we get the shipment of much needed medical supplies from China that's on its way to Canada. See how it works is, you have my back, I have yours.

"TORONTO -- China has donated thousands of medical supplies to Canada to aid in the fight against the COVID-19, according to the Chinese Embassy in Ottawa. The embassy also said that shipment would be followed by another one containing the much sought-after N95 masks.

“We are together!” the Chinese Embassy wrote.

In a tweet published on Saturday morning, the embassy said it had sent 30,000 medical masks, 10,000 sets of protective clothing, 10,000 goggles and 50,000 pairs of gloves to Canada on Friday."

If one or more of your family members was sick would you go around the neighbourhood selling aspirins and Calpol to the neighbours or would you not want to keep those medicines for your sick family members?

His own people, that's an interesting statement. Should, as your statement would dictate, the producing countries of the world stop international humanitarianism and adopt an every man for himself attitude? Or... or... would it be in the best interest of everyone if the world worked together and pooled their resources as much as possible without harming local populations, to help one another through a global (emphasis on the word global) pandemic?

Don't give him a multiple choice question ;-)

I wish Walter would either just SHUT UP or give us one example of what Trump has done to decrease the damage and despair of Covid 19. in the U.S. So far on this front he has been a total FAILURE!

(I didn't care for Reagan either.......but he was better than You know who in office currently.

Hey- Reagan was numero uno! One thing about Ronnie, there was always an aura of optimism about him, I don't think I saw a glum face ever.

Nope.

Governments put their own people first, which is the main priority of any government.

Who is suggesting that a country deplete their own resources entirely in aiding another? I don't recall seeing that being suggested here. But to counter your point would you knock on the doors of your neighbours if you were in dire need of meds for a loved one knowing that they had some to spare, and that their supply could be replenished?

1,000-Bed New York Hospital Ship Has Only 20 Patients
https://pjmedia.com/trending/1000-bed-new-york-hospital-ship-has-only-20-patients/
The Governor was crying for more hospital beds.

The British - well, the Gurkhas - have just built a 4000-bed hospital in London, which is the world's biggest critical care unit. The Nightingale Hospital. It took them just nine days to build it.

Maybe Boris should senf a few thousand Gurkhas over to build a few hospitals in America. It seems like the Yanks are useless.

They are the people who sent marines to fight in the Iraqi desert - when the British sent the Desert Rats.
