BREAKING: Biden wins Texas, a blow to Sanders, NBC News projects

Joe Biden wins Texas on Super Tuesday in a setback for rival Bernie Sanders, NBC News projects. There are 228 delegates at stake, more than in any other state voting Tuesday except for California. The victory in Texas is Biden's ninth of Super Tuesday in what is increasingly looking like a two-man contest for the Democratic nomination between him and Sanders.

If any of you are interested in facts (I know most of you aren't), in the Democratic Party a candidate needs 1991 delegates to have an uncontested nomination. In most states, and all the large ones, 1/4 of the delegates are assigned by the statewide election results, and 3/4 of the delegates are assigned by the election results in each Congressional district within the state. For example, California, the largest state by population, has 53 Congressional districts, and has 415 delegates to hand out. So. . . by simple arithmetic, which I know is beyond some of our esteemed contributors, 104 delegates will go to the candidate who wins the statewide popular vote, and six delegates will go for each Congressional district a candidate wins.

Joe Biden will win, even if he doesn't win the most delegates tonight.

Superdelegate Pushing Convention Effort to Stop Sanders Is a Health Care Lobbyist

They will steal the nomination from Bernie......Again.

Biden came out of nowhere! Once again the Pollsters were wrong.

Up until last night they had Warren and Sanders in a dead heat for Massachusetts. Biden trounced them both!

The fix is in... the Democrat Establishment is fighting back against the Socialists!

Mike Bloomberg is suspending his presidential campaign, says he’s endorsing Biden
It's gotta sting spending over 1/2 a Billion to be humiliated

Last month Forbes listed Bloomberg as the 9th richest person in the world with a net worth of over $60 billion, so I doubt he will feel any sting at dropping 1/2 a billion. Humiliated? Can people as obscenely wealthy as he is be humiliated? I don't know, maybe. Either way he has stated on his Twitter that he's not done, he will still play a part in the race throwing his support behind Biden.
