From your own reference, 403 killed with RIFLES of all types, certainly NOT all AR 15s, in fact probably most were not even military-style.
467 killed with blunt objects, including hammers, although hammers are (like AR 15s in the rifle category) certainly used in a minority of those killings.
But, that is YOUR reference, and YOUR argument, So yes, according to YOUR logic, AR 15s are as safe as hammers, if not more so..........even in unlicensed hands.
