Buttigieg: Americans 'are the jury' in Trump's impeachment trial now

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg said Sunday that it's been "frustrating" for many Democrats watching the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, but argued that those who feel that way should be energized to vote in Mondays Iowa caucus and then in November.

"If the Senate is the jury right now, we are the jury tomorrow," he said during a special edition of "Meet the Press" from Iowa. "And however frustrating it is to watch that process, you can't switch it off, you can't walk away, and you can't give up."

His right. The problem is that so many Americans are brainwashed to the point that not sure they can be objective jurors. Their partisan group tink.....is the basis of their bias. Look at their history: They kill Lincoln ...... The assassinate Kennedy, They vote Bush Jr. in TWICE!! and then vote in a lunatic like Trump. One might say that he collective judgement is highly questionable. And they just can't get past the pigmentation issue as if anyone can control the color of their skin or eyes. let alone gender orientation. They are swayed by fake messaging on social media........ accepting that info as fct......while denouncing scientific evidence. Mayor Pete might be misjudging the capabilities of the population.
Yes iris terrible America is so twisted that all the Main Street media has hypnotized the population to turn Trump Zombizies .

This only makes Trump stronger.

Black voter support doubled from 21% last January to 42% this January.

It's now impossible for the Dems to win.

Sen. Manchin calls for censuring Trump over pressuring Ukraine to investigate his domestic political rivals

Sen. Joe Manchin III (D-W.Va.), a moderate who is friendly with President Trump, did not tip his hand on how he would vote Wednesday on the two articles of impeachment and ousting Trump. Instead, he called for a less severe rebuke for the president.

If it's wrong but not impeachable I would imagine the enablers would come up with an appropriate slap on the wrist

dam Schiff delivered a powerful closing rebuke to Republican senators: 'Is there one among you who will say, Enough!'

Rep. Adam Schiff, the lead House prosecutor in President Donald Trump's impeachment trial, said in his closing argument Monday that Trump had 'betrayed our national security' and will do so again, urging the Senate to take a stand against "a man without character."

"It is said that a single man or woman of courage makes a majority," Schiff, D-Calif., told the senators. "Is there one among you who will say 'enough!'?" Trump is expected to be acquitted when the Senate votes on his fate on Wednesday. A two-thirds vote is needed to convict a president.

He was good. Very articulate, and makes his points clearly and effectively. His mild mannered appearance is deceptive as when he speaks , he captures one's attention.........and for good reason. Lot of substance there. This explains why the inarticlate emperor hates him. He is threatened by anyone that is verbally capable , intelligent and effective. (as he should be)

You talking about "YOUR list"?
No. The list of stuff that's been accurate and has been posted many, many times and not just by me. You can ignore all his failures you want, but it won't change the facts.

Impeachment is the bringing of charges against a government official. This is done by the House of Reps.
The charges are presented to the US Senate that acts as judge and jury to decide on misdeeds, and to what degree.
If the official is found "not guilty" by the Senate, he/she is free to continue the term.
Found "guilty" doesn't necessarily mean removal from office (it's the heaviest punishment).
