What the Hell does that comment have to do with anything that Tecumsehsbones said?
I think it's a clue copied from a 3-dimensional crossword puzzle.
What the Hell does that comment have to do with anything that Tecumsehsbones said?
Those 400,000,000 guns will be lying around in the rubble after the morons have destroyed themselves with them. What the Hell does that comment have to do with anything that Tecumsehsbones said?

Is this true - maybe an overstatement? (not looking for an argument, just clarification). My assumption is that 1) you can't legally shoot someone just because they're in your house, but 2) Self defense is a valid legal argument no matter where the incident occurs... You really can't shot someone even if they are in your house, so self defense is not even legal in Canada
I think you got that exactly right.the whole gun issue is totally fukkedf up because most humans are totally fukked up.
Well, we did invent Ragnarok n' Roll. You're all ready for Ragnarok.
Yes, you've made your indifference very clear. Y'all have a real fine evening now, hear?Tecumsehsbones, you're on my ignore list but Hoid responded to your post and I opened it to see what it was about. Having read it I feel it deserves a response to at least two of your comments:
1. I'm not aware of anyone, on the forum or elsewhere, who wants to 'ban guns' or make "private possession of firearms completely illegal". If there are such persons here I invite them to make themselves, and their reason for such an extreme attitude, known to the rest of us. I suspect they would be a vanishingly small minority. More likely you're just setting up straw men with a pretend agenda to argue against.
2. I don't really care about more guns coming into the U.S.
You mean, if we arm every man, woman and child in Canada with multiple weapoms, we'll lower our murder rate down to those lowest-of-the-low American levels?Despite your delusional fantasies, that is completely unrealistic.
The murder rate in the USA is significantly lower than the world average.
Reality is an interesting and wonderful thing, you should check it out.
No, he means that there is much more to the homicide rate than the availability of guns. You mean, if we arm every man, woman and child in Canada with multiple weapoms, we'll lower our murder rate down to those lowest-of-the-low American levels?
Oh, so give us the guns AND a failing culture and we'll match your glorious, better-than-best homocide rates. No, he means that there is much more to the homicide rate than the availability of guns.
A failing culture would be a step up for y'all. Flannel, mediocre beer, and curling ain't a culture.Oh, so give us the guns AND a failing culture and we'll match your glorious, better-than-best homocide rates.

I'll give you "most powerful," but success is a multi-faceted thing. We do well in some areas. In others, not so much.Sigh.
No. The US rate is typically around 3 times our rate, and has been that way for at least half a century. The comparative rate has remained the same, while we have had (in that time) three very restrictive new laws passed (the last in 1995) and the Americans have actually started letting civilians carry.............and let the Assault Weapons Bill of the 1990s die, and while the number of firearms in the country has not only increased, it has multiplied (unlike Canada, where the number of guns has dropped)
And the USA is far from a failing nation. it is the most powerful, the most successful nation on the face of the earth.

Oh, he's all there. He's just tuckered out at the end of another day of chasing ambulances around.Good grief, that was my very thought. I may read a few more of your posts; or was this just a brief moment of lucidity? Maybe I'll give 'y'all' down there the benefit of my admitted doubt.
Speaking as I do for all gun banners - the collection of guns would be an ongoing task.It would obviously never be completely done.
As far as stopping them from entering the US you could just start calling them "mexicans".
Even with our oppressive gun laws the banners can't even keep criminals from having guns. I do admit they have a better chance of stealing all the ligitimate guns.I have two questions the gun-banners haven't been able to answer yet. Maybe one of the gun-banners here can. . .
There are about 400,000,000 guns in private hands in the U.S. Assuming you can pass a law making private possession of firearms completely illegal:
What are you going to do about those guns?
How will you stop more guns from coming into the U.S.?
Same applies to Canada, though I realize the numbers are nowhere near as high up yonder.
You mean, if we arm every man, woman and child in Canada with multiple weapoms, we'll lower our murder rate down to those lowest-of-the-low American levels?
Certain idiots like you should have to rely on armed police officers unless you recant your rants.
It's a whole new group folks - rantrecantists. Stand by for learned comments about rantrecantism. While he MAY be able to recant his rants, I doubt if he can recant the truth about him being an idiot!![]()
