What nearly ALL politicians doThat what leftys do when the law isnt convenient for their party line.
Speculative, unfounded racist rhetoric; typical of politics and especially of Sheila Copps, the erstwhile Rat Pack's leader and most shrill & obnoxious Rat.As Ms Copps pointed out - if it was 9,000 First Nations jobs at stake the DPA would have been perfectly alright

What damage is that? The loss of votes from an island in the St Larry? Its a way to limit the collateral damage done by the law.
It's logical and proper and not doing it is hiughly questionable.

I hope he flushed before leaving the Privy.Wernicke has quit, btw.
Schilling for a PM that has illegally tried to force his Attourny General to rule on a point of law HIS way because he's afraid that Canada is going to dissolve into violence (!) tells me, anyway that the man is not only unfit for his office but is also a little bonkers. He needs to get out more. Go to a strip joint in Hull, now and again ...

Actually, SNC-Lavalin does directly employ some 8700 people across Canada.
If that is the case why hve laws? More like this is a convenient political favourism tool. Its a way to limit the collateral damage done by the law.

These comments have nothing to do with anything realthe DPA would have nothing to do with the charges
Maent yn gwneud yn wir. :lol:Mae pawb o Loegr yn siarad yn ddoniol.
SNC -Lavalin was forbidden from bidding on federal contracts already. In Dec. 2015 Groper's govt allowed them to bid on federal contracts again claiming "it was in the best interests of Canada and Canadians". So, if they haven't done anything wrong since Dec. 2015, why the need to push through a DPA specifically at SNC's request? And why the need to hide the legislation by burying it in a 500+ page omnibus budget bill? What laws did SNC (or the Liberals for that matter) break since Dec. 2015 that Stupid needed to push this legislation through by hook or by crook? Its a way to limit the collateral damage done by the law.
