from Yale classmate who remembers a boy with a bad drinking problem:

Ludington said he often saw Kavanaugh "staggering from alcohol consumption," and said he often became "belligerent and aggressive" while drinking.

"starting a fight that ended with one of our mutual friends in jail."

Kavanaugh "lied about his past actions on national television, and more especially while speaking under oath in front of the United States Senate, I believe those lies should have consequences."

Gee...........thanks so much for that, Hoidie............it's not like anyone with half a brain hadn't already figured out that Kavanaugh lied about his drinking and partying........but it was really good of you to make sure that the news got out there.

I'm kind of siding with Hoidie on this one, Mowich. If a judge is lying under oath I do think it is important that everyone know about it. I think that is a much more serious matter than what Dr. Ford is alleging he did as a minor. Boys will be boys, judges should be held to a higher standard. :) :)

Hoid is a real peach.

He backs Blasey Ford yet makes a snide joke when Kellyanne Conway comes out that she too was sexually assaulted. His partisan colours on full display.

Has nothing to do with the press. It has everything to do with Trump's mental dysfunction.
Yet if Trump had never gone near politics and we had a different republican person in the White House you wouldn’t be saying the same . Remember George Bush is a moron who’s daddy bought him the presidency . . These hysterics are getting old and are part of the reason people are voting for Trump and other populous polititions worldwide .

Much to many people's chagrin he'll probably get elected to a 2nd term. The Americans are loving him for the deal he got them on the new USMCA deal. The man isn't stupid!

To the stupid trumphaters who lie a lot:

Prosecutor Who Grilled Ford On Details At Hearing Just Made Stunning Admission
Dems SILENT(VIDEO)!!!

Prosecutor who grilled Ford on details at hearing just made stunning admission dems silent. Rachel Mitchell g r i l l e d Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford. Now, Mitchell just made a stunning admission and the Democrats are s h o c k i n g l y silent over it.

Rachel Mitchell told senators the case would not hold up in a courtroom and wouldn’t even seek a search warrant, that could prove critical as wavering lawmakers prepare to vote.

If there was any real there, there it would have turned up in the first 6 background checks and brought up in the nomination process. IMO

Yes, but would the original FBI checks on Kavanaugh go as far back to his High School days? I wonder.

FBI questioning Kavanaugh's friend Mark Judge, who was alleged by Blasey Ford to have been in that room 36 years ago.

In this video, Judge is seen picking up a refreshment before his FBI interview...

They would have been taken to wherever the evidence took them, I believe the scope was reduced to 10 years or something like that the first background check would have certainly been in scope.

I'm thinking when he joined Ken Star in 1994 would have been his first background check by the FBI only being a dozen years removed from High School any rumours or inappropriate activity would have been recorded.

Clerkships and Early Career
After graduating from Yale Law, Kavanaugh clerked for three judges: Walter Stapleton of the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, in Philadelphia; Alex Kozinski of the Ninth Circuit, in San Francisco; and Justice Kennedy. He went on to join Starr's office as associate counsel in 1994, and later became partner at the Kirkland & Ellis firm, where he specialized in appellate law, until leaving for good to join the Bush White House in 2001. Additionally, he began teaching at Harvard Law School in 2008, his courses covering such topics as the Supreme Court and separation of powers.
