Nothing like a 'he said, she said' to bring out the best and the worst of all of the participants on this forum.
My eyes are wide open in this moment. I'm greatly disappointed in some, while confidently reassured by others.

I don't care who did what. Kavanaugh has publically demonstrated that he is not impartial enough for the position that has been recommended for. He has failed the job interview, regardless of what he/she said.

..and if he is so willing to follow the overly aggressive tactics as advised by Trump......(no role model to anyone ) that says he can be swayed very easily when there is something in it for HIM. It would have been more effective if he had been his own self........ even if his own self is highly politicised now. That show he put on.....may have pleased the Trumpians.......but was ineffective and just showed an angry petulant biased man.who felt he was now entitled to the job.

A new Change Research poll finds 51% of Americans wouldn’t vote to re-elect their senators if they vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh.

A new YouGov survey finds that Americans believe Christine Blasey Ford was telling the truth about Kavanaugh assaulting her by 41% to 30%, while they are split on Kavanaugh’s honesty, 35% to 38%.

However, among those who reported having personally watched at least some of the hearings, 52% to 36%, that they believed Ford, while they were split 44% to 46% on whether they believed Kavanaugh.

They have to be pretty naïve if they really think there's anyone high up in the gov't echelons who are anymore squeaky clean than Kavanaugh...………...they pretty much have to lie and steal just to get where they are and of course make promises they can't fill.

Just a guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if women take the whole issue a lot more seriously than men. It's probably not right, fair or just but it's a fact of life that's women's safety is a lot more precarious than men's. The most realistic way for them to level the field is to probably become proficient at Karate and pack a gun.
