Archbishop Accuses Pope of Sex Abuse Cover Up, Reportedly Flees Country Citing Threats to His Life

The archbishop who exposed the pope for allegedly covering up sex abuse in the church has reportedly gone into hiding, noting that he fears his life is in danger.


As TFTP reported earlier this week, a former Vatican diplomat released a historical 11-page testament accusing the catholic church — up to and including the pope — of not only failing to act on the child abuse scandal, but also being complicit in covering it up. Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano wrote in a letter that Pope Francis knew of the allegations for years and did nothing to stop it. Now, it has been reported that Vigano has been forced into “hiding” because he is in fear of his life.
As TFTP reported, Vigano released the bombshell report accusing the pope of covering up the allegations and asked for his resignation.
“Pope Francis has repeatedly asked for total transparency in the Church. He must honestly state when he first learned about the crimes committed by McCarrick, who abused his authority with seminarians and priests. In any case, the Pope learned about it from me on June 23, 2013 and continued to cover him,” Vigano wrote.
Now, these statements appear to have gotten the retired archbishop in a world of hurt and the high-level catholic church officials may want to silence him.

When you compare the Clergy to the Politicians only, the level of abuse seems to be a commonality rather than any great difference in numbers. They keep pointing their fingers at each other, meanwhile the known Satanists are out of sight and out of mind.

This is my issue with the abuse in the Catholic Church. It was covered up rather than dealt with. Even now they are still taking that approach. Ideally it would not have happened in the first place but its not a perfect world. When it did happen, they should have hung their priests out to dry rather than protecting them.

I have a certain, highly limited, sympathy for the abusive priests, who have mental problems. The bishops just have the banal evil of company men.

And they should not have "hung them out to dry," they should have suspended them and reported them to the civil authorities.

They all hold some sort of appeal when they are first encountered but as you spend time digging deeper you start finding flaws where there shouldn't be any. God gave Adam 1 rule and he failed to follow it. Now we have 10 Commandments to follow under similar conditions. Sum them up as 'feed the poor' is something that is 'a reasonable request'.

It discusses ArchBishop Carlo Vigano's blistering criticism of Pope Francis, Cardinal Wuerl of Washington and others involved in the McCarrick (former Bp. of Washington) coverups. It notes specifically something that has been known in the upper echelons of the Church for decades.. that there are self protecting and self promoting homosexual networks spreading their tentacles like an octupus through the Church and strangling it. They are well organized and actively recruit homosexuals to seminaries.

It lasts about 56 minutes, but is quite fascinating viewing in somewhat voyeuristic and cynical sense. It is leading the Church into a schismatic crisis that it has not seen in centuries (since the Reformation). And it will have the most profound effects on Western Civilization which is still very much an construct founded on Christian foundations.
