So what is the solution? These 'families' are caught at the border. The parents will be charged and deported. Is the solution to keep the kids with them through the process in an adult detention centre? Is this detention centre able to handle families?


Or is the solution to just have a whole bunch more judges and have this a same day deportation but I suspect their are clauses that prevent speedy trials to allow time for defense.


I do not agree with what the Americans are doing at all but I also don't agree to just ignore illegal immigration (a tactic employed by pretty much all previous administrations).

For starters, it's rather disingenuous for him to proclaim he wants a solution when his economic policies will cause even more Mexicans to cross the border. Making Mexico more economically unstable will just throw fire on the flames.

Trump seeks to fuel his base anyway he can, and this is one of his red-meat tactics. And of course, in the end, Trump will be the victim. He always is.
