They should probably both get it. Funny isn't it? Those two guys accomplished much more in one day than everyone else combined over 70 years and yet there's still people who bitch and whine about it. Just the fact the two are treating each other civilly and have some plans documented is really nothing short of miraculous.

Germany had the economic capability to rival the UK militarily. North Korea doesn't have close to the ability to rival even South Korea militarily, and remember that Japan, the US, and even China would not appreciate an unprovoked attack against South Korea even by its ally. The two situations simply do not compare.

How successful were the sanctions for the last 60 some years? Sanctions are seldom effective. Either you are prepared to go in militarily or drop the sanctions and move on. I say the same for Russia. In 2100, are we still going to be imposing sanctions on Russia for annexing Crimea? What's the end game? If we're not prepared to go in militarily, then drop the sanctions and resume trade otherwise it's just meaningless showmanship.
Quite possible. If NK would rather keep the status quo like Cuba has chosen, it is their prerogative.
