One thing I will praise Trump for: listening to Dennis Rodman. Apparently, Kim Jung Un told Rodman flat out what he wanted and what he would willingly do in return. Rodman told the previous POTUS and that POTUS brushed him off. He told Trump, Trump thanked him, and Trump considered it:

BBC reporting: N.K. media is saying that Trump said that the sanctions would be lifted.

As there were no witnesses at this meet up........ hard to say what the facts will be as more info is dribble dout.

Kim And Trump cans spin whatever they want and it is a he said, he said situation.

very bad ...and secretive deal making. But in reality....NO deal has been made. Only a vague agreement. A deal to make a deal might be the best interpretation of this.

NK.....State media is also stating that Both leaders agreed to visit each other capital.

Who can KNOW what as said?? Both have credibility issues.

So what is the point of the post? How much of what they said to each other are we obligated to know? I'm just happy to know these guys made more progress toward peace in one day than has been achieved in 70 years. Let's just be happy about that!

OK....the point of the post is: to indicate what NK state media isreporting. and how it compares to what the western press is releasing. There has been no official word about sanctions being lifted and the visits to each other capitals has not been mentioned either. The closest it came was someone asking Him if he would like to visit the White House

The point is that there is no way of verifying anything and with all the sensationalism and triumphalism ..........some hard facts as to what transpired aer in order. Are we to rely on NK state medaifor information??

Wisdom dictates that itis not smart to take things at face value in the current climate.....of lies and manipulation.

We shall see. Trump's is a phone baloney of the highest order and it certainly helps Comrade Kim to be his co-star in a Reality TV epic like this. It might be peace but it is more likely to have been a publicity stunt.

Apparently from what I heard this morning, Trump has invited Kim to the White House. I think we should quit worrying about the whole thing as we can be assured there will be people on both sides keeping their toes to the fire. I suppose if either of them was to pull a fast one now it might be Kim, but it wouldn't be in his best interest to do so. Whatever happens it very unlikely to be any worse than what it was, so let's just relax and hope for best and leave the worrying up to those who are paid to worry.

Could be but not very likely!

Inviting Kim to Washington elevates him to a new plain. Suddenly, Kim is a powerful statesman! That only increases his power at home.

Trump really likes despots, doesn't he?

Do you think there's a chance that Trump was just trying to show him some hospitality, to improve the relation?

Best President ever. Must really bother the left that Trump has achieved something no other President has ever done.

Exactly what has Trump achieved other than a photo op with a murderous tyrant? I'm waiting to see some results from this summit that is more than just platitudes.

Like he did when he torpedoed the G7 and bad mouthed his closest trading partner and neighbours. He said he is going to make Canadians pay because Justin stood up to his bullying. He's a lunatic and a wannabe dictator. That is why he buddied up to Kim. Birds of a feather.

NO, Justin made it clear right from the get go that he wasn't prepared to negotiate!

Iran warns N.Korea not to trust Trump

Would think that Kim knows that. (as does most of the planet)

Like Iran is the pinnacle of integrity!

No, Trump is never ready to negotiate. It is always his way or no way. He's a bully. I think we should put Justin and Donald in a ring and watch Justin punch that fat piece of shit's lights out.

That would be showing intelligence!
