Canada is upholding their end of NORAD they are not upholding their end in NATO and no, this is about imported metal into Canada and Mexico and resold under NAFTA. That's why after the first threat of steel tariffs Canada imposed restrictions and large tariffs on imported metals. The national security thing is the only way Trump can trigger the tariffs it's not because we are security concern, hammer out the NAFTA deal and it all goes away

JT should have made time to greet them in Ottawa when they came to visit now they are putting us into a sticky situation

Canada is NOT holding up its end of NORAD- unless you are thinking like a LIE-beral hypocrite and believe that offering up some worn out fighter jets and some Cdn military officers to join Yankee training programs is a serious defense!

AS we have seen- Yankees want to tighten up the border to reduce the number of organized crime figures, drug dealers, welfare cheats, Russian and Chinese spies seeking advanced technology so they cab build their own more effective stealth weapons to hurt Yankees in either current or future conflicts, and all those Muslims with their plans to become future jihadist "martyrs" coming to their country!

Our idiot Boy Justin would rather have a NAFTA trade war, plus a devastated Cdn economy and a series of federal $120 billion dollar deficits rather than admit the Yankees might be right! ON ANYTHING!

Yet another subject you know nothing about.Fact is the feds sold out BC's lumber industry.
ALthough in this case the cost simply got added on to the retail price which is what the steel industry should do.
You forgot to mention why .

$3.80 for a f-cking 2x4. That's insane.

That's a little over 1500/thousand bd.ft. 20% of which is duties which Home Depot decided to charge in Canadian stores as well to up their profit. Which means the producer is still only getting around $800/thousand at the mill.

NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) has nothing to do with immigration it has all to do with protecting from invasion from the North in particular. NAFTA is where the problem is

I think I'll just cut down my neighbours fir tree, mill it and build an addition on the house.

The fine would be far far cheaper.

Do yuh think that if Canada would agree to immediately sign on to the "Missile Defense System" and/or to invest more into "NORAD" that the country could walk away unscathed?
There is literally no military detente we are not already entangled in.

the problem is China.

China is the one dumping steel and that's who Trump should be going after except he has no leverage with China.

The Prime Minister was already given ample warning by US officials when he agreed to accept a large number of newcomers from a terror sponsoring country. He should have thought twice prior to letting all those Syrians into the country. When you hail from a country that is an official sponsor of terrorism (ie Hezbollah headquarters in Damascus), you are going to have citizens of that country who are sympathetic to the terrorist cause.

So now Trudeau is crying that Canada is no security risk to the U.S. Canada does indeed pose a security threat to the U.S. This could all have been avoided if he had not allowed entry into Canada to the tens of thousands of newcomers who originated from a terror sponsoring country (Syria) and are now here. President Trump has it right. He banned all newcomers from various countries that openly support terrorism, and Syria is one of them.

The American President has the welfare and national security of his citizens as his top priority. Unfortunately, the Canadian Prime Minister doesn’t.

Canadian men and women have died alongside Americans fighting in all these damn wars for decades. We've stood beside our neighbours to the south every step of the way... through thick and thin, through rich times and through poor times.

And now we're being told that we're a national security threat to the US ?!

F*** you Trump, and f*** you America.

F*** you all.

The times, they are a-changin'...

The US is sinking its own ship with the orange clown's protectionist and isolationist policies.

I for one will be sitting in my lawn chair, drinking a case of beer, and laughing my ass off when this all blows up in his fat Kentucky Fried Chicken face.
