Crowd in D.C. estimated at 200,000
More than 200,000 people attended the March for Our Lives demonstration in Washington D.C. on Saturday, according to Digital Design & Imaging Service Inc (DDIS). The Virginia-based firm uses a proprietary method for calculating crowd size using aerial photos.
The peak crowd size was 202,796 people, with a margin of error of 15 percent, the firm said. The crowd reached its largest size at 1 p.m., according to the company's estimates.

CNN Scrambling After Hearing What Parkland Star’s Dad Said Day After Sandy Hook
Since before the blood even dried on the campus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school after the Feb. 14 mass shooting, the Clinton News Network has been a virtually back-to-back orgy of gun control activists.
It’s made stars of some of the most vocal survivors of the shooting, as long as their opinion comported with the network’s liberal outlook. But now a Twitter post from the father of one of those stars is emerging, and it’s not toeing the liberal line at all.

The post was reprised by Kyle Kashuv, a Stoneman Douglas student who has been outspoken about his belief that the massacre in Parkland, Florida, should not serve as an excuse to limit the Second Amendment rights of American citizens.
Kashuv has been tangling publicly with fellow Stoneman Douglas students Cameron Kasky and David Hogg, who have been promoted by CNN and other mainstream media outlets as the latest voices for stripping Americans of their constitutionally guaranteed right to bear arms.

In the Twitter post from December 2012, Kasky’s father, Jeff, an attorney in South Florida, essentially acknowledges that the kind of gun control proposals that are being most talked about would not have done a thing to save the lives of 20 children and six adults who were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School that year.
It’s a grim fact that gun grabbers refuse to recognize.
That’s not what the activists in the mainstream media are saying now, of course.
In the aftermath of the March for Our Lives demonstration in Washington on Saturday, CNN and other media outlets are trying to build momentum for anti-gun Democrat candidates gearing up for the fall midterm elections.
Whether they’re wildly exaggerating the size of Saturday’s demonstration, or getting the facts ludicrously wrong about the Parkland shooting itself, liberal media outlets are trying their best to heed the cynical Democrat maxim of “never let a crisis go to waste.”
Kashuv’s tweet drew more than a few liberal screeches, naturally. But from other responses, he definitely struck a chord.
