By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, we also wept, when we remembered Zion. We hung our lyres on the willows in its midst. For there, those who carried us away captive required of us a song; and those who tormented us required of us mirth, saying, ‘Sing us one of the songs of Zion.’ How shall we sing God’s song in a foreign land? If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember you, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy. (Psalms 137:1-6)

Zion was south eastern Yemen like I mentioned earlier. Climate change made that part of Yemen arid and dusty so they moved away, diaspora like.

Ah, yes, the Slaver's Hymn.

Goes well with the Traitor's Cross. . .

Heh-heh, here ya go. The perfect Christian woman. Notice the tats, the slutty Traitor's Cross bikini, the big ol' gun, and the bible verse on the throw behind her. . .

From where we sit anyone portraying the stars and stripes is a traitor.

Yet, you revel in your ability to pick and choose when you want them to be the same thing and those convenient times when they best serve you as separate

Excellent.

Can you please refer me to the part of the textbook that describes the anthropogenic global warming facts?

Say, how you enjoying the ice free North pole since 2013?

... It was a fact, dontcha know

No I don't and no I can't.

The Old Testement has no balls and is for Jews. Christians adhere to the New Testament.
Adhere. No, they cherry pick
Everything beyond David in the OT is an abomination.
Does god agree with you on that? He was an huge asshole before.
Out of the mouth of a Camel humper.

Americans destroying Christianity, absolute nonsence, the Holy Roman Catholic Church already did that a thousand years ago.

They also destroyed the Orthdox Christian church substantially and that lead to the Balkans being so ****ed up.

These kids are now adults who hate rabbits. Just a guess.
Was that an Easterbunny nightmare thing

I accidentally killed the Easter bunny 2 weeks ago....

Divert! Divert! Divert! Tactical, deploy the tu quoque fallacy! Maybe if we can convince them that some non-Christians played in the slave game, they'll forget that Christians were guilty too!

Really, I find it hard to believe you still pull this shit on me. Have I ever fallen for it?

The question was pretty simple Bones.... But I do so enjoy the diversions that you (ironically) accuse me of.

You're welcome to answer it anytime

As per your selective focus on Christians and their participation in the slave trade, yup, many slavers were Christian... Some devout and some in name only, but nonetheless, they participated.

... I anxiously await yours or twila's answer to my question

After his conversion to Christianity and while he was campaigning for the abolition of slavery. Context is everything.

Context is relevant if, and only if, it supports their position.

Somehow I have the feeling that these folks will blame Christianity for Stalin's actions, but then again, maybe there was a secret Christian that was within 100 miles of Stalin, ergo, the 10s of millions murdered by Stalin was the sole fault of Christianity

And don’t forget the devout Christian, Mao, who killed even more millions than Stalin.

Or the 90 million indigenous Americans killed by the Spanish, British and French Christians. White folk tend to want to forget the American genocide, deny it even.

Anyway, the Virgin Mary wishes you a Happy You Killed My Son Day.

Guess you never heard of Byzantium? Guess you never heard of the 4th crusade? The greatest betrayal in Christiandom.

It was a betrayal by the Catholics so they could repay Venice for a debt. The 4th crusade effectively ended a United front against the Muslims. This caused the fragmentation of the Byzantium Empire which the Turks exploited in their final victory of Trebizond hundreds of years later.

The Catholics are responsible for why the Balkans are so messed up.

No Cliffy, looking right at you.

For someone that whines and moans so much, you demonstrate a pathological and systemic program of intolerance and bigotry... In your mind, you justify it as fighting-the good-fight, but in the end, it is no more than the yelps of one that has led a most disappointing and unfulfilled life
