If a lunatic, a psychopath, an enraged or a complex person has a machinery gun, and he fires it at students or other people, will the teacher have time to stop him? This is not rational obviously.
So as I said before, if they want to stop such massacres, they should give only defensive pistols: one to each family who demand it, with licence, and the owner will be responsible about his pistol.
The pistol should not be carried at the street, but kept at home for the hard circumstances.
