Northern Ontario,
Guess you're just not a risk taker.

Explains some things.
I deal in sure things.......I had solar panels on my fifth wheel trailer...but I also had a honda 2000 generator as a backup!
In 15 seasons years of traveling, I've had to use it every year at least a couple of times....
You SAY you have solar panels on your house?
Are you ready to cut off the hydro?....Are you just not a risk taker?

Northern Ontario,
So am I......haven't figured how to ignore that yet.

Even after 25 years.....takes time I suppose.
You'll learn that sometimes keeping your mouth shut is the wisest thing......
It gets easier with the years.....

Even better than"Yes Dear"

And even if you don't need a hearing aid ....you can always pretend!

Tesla fell short on its Model 3 production goals again — but its latest numbers and past history offer some hope
Troy Wolverton Jan 4, 2018, 5:48 PM ET
Here we go again. Tesla's got a new car model, and it's having trouble meeting its production targets. On Wednesday, the electric vehicle maker said just how far it was falling short in meeting its goals for its new Model 3. While company CEO Elon Musk had projected Tesla would make 20,000 Model 3s, it actually only made 2,425 - about 12% of that forecast. And the situation doesn't look like it will get better soon; after initially saying it planned to make 5,000 Model 3s a week by the end of last year, it now doesn't expect to hit that production target until the end of the second quarter.

But, but, 450,000 presold! As usual, Hoid, aka Flossy, exists only to stir the pot. He adds nothing to any conversation, and is devoid of facts.

But he is funny. A dullard, but funny. I'm quite sure he will quote more of his unsubstantiated "facts" shortly.

If you don't accept his lies, be warned! He will put you on ignore.

Revolution?? More like "electric vehicle trickle"! I and most people we know are happy with our vehicles and will likely trade them in on something similar when the time comes! We also have to keep the oil workers working!

Self-driving cars will leave 'THIRD of population JOBLESS' as AI sparks MASS UNEMPLOYMENT

A THIRD of the population faces sickening unemployment because of self-driving cars, a damning prediction reveals.

Vehicles that transport people using artificial intelligence are on course to become a frequent sight on our roads.

But if they are thrust into the mass market and prove popular, an expert has warned they will wreak havoc on the global economy.

Professor in Computer Engineering, Dr Subhash Kak, believes a third of jobs will be lost soon after their introduction.

It comes after his bombshell prediction, given to this website, that AI will "sink the world into unemployed despair" in a hellish "dystopia", because humans will be put out of work.

But the machines will also eliminate jobs at welfare too ( hey BOOMer!), so the savings should be huge.
;)
sort of.

That and other types of automation will leave 9/10ths of the population unemployed. We had better figure out a way of providing them with a living of that magic 1/100th of the population that controls 4/5ths of the World's wealth will find themselves lined up to get their heads lopped off.

No worries, the displaced workers will be kept busy cleaning up after all the resulting accidents, including funeral directors and undertakers, doctors and nurses.

P.S. I'm already starting to rethink this given the number of lousy drivers we presently have on the roads. :)
