It is.

I grew up two hundred yards form the shores of the St.Lawrence river, just upstream from Montreal and it always breaks up in March. They don't get as much snow there, anymore.
Yet the ship is stuck in ice, go figure.

If anyone of those who are so sure we are in a cooling phase of weather, rather than global change or warming what course of action is required to to prevent the demise of all warm blooded creatures of this beautiful planet?? What portions of the earth does one choose to live in to ensure survival of one's line of humanity?

I see today was another milestone iin the disasters threatening mankind from tornadoes, volcanic eruptions and self and other creature immolations.

In the worst winters here, there have been years of zero snow in Toronto.
I have family that come up every weekend, and have since the 40s

When the great lakes freeze over we get much less snow till after it thaws out, if at all.
But the going stays good for some time.

:)
and the ice fishing is just a walk away.

We've had more snow fall in our neighbourhood than Toronto has received due to local lake effect but it's all gone, now and it's staying above zero.

Northern Ontario,
Planet warmed for a few days, now back to cooling.

My window says so......science.
That....sonny....is called observational evidence.....

I especially believe the science.

“This assessment concludes, based on extensive evidence, that it is extremely likely that human activities, especially emissions of greenhouse gases, are the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century,” according to the Climate Science Special Report. “For the warming over the last century, there is no convincing alternative explanation supported by the extent of the observational evidence.”
