This is not new, so why post it as if it is?
My first year in Calgary....-40, -30 and colder for over a week. Not really any different then, than it was this time around.
Cold in Winnipeg? No shit Sherlock. Portage and main, coldest spot in Canada. Been that way for as long as I can remember.
How about you address the FACT that scientists were predicting mass starvation by the year 2000, back in the 60's and 70's. This was "apparently" a guarantee if we didn't reverse our polluting ways. Yet, we have increased pollution and "green house gasses" significantly through the latter part of the last century into this one. Yet, here we still are, with a significantly increased population rather than the apocalypse that was predicted.
So, again, why should I believe the "scientific community" this time around?
