Re: Canada and UK Align to End Global Coal-fired Electricity

Earth is not fine.

The burning of coal has caused great harm.

You are so wrong.

I would not buy a power tool that plugs into the wall anymore. Corded tools are relics because battery technology has improved so much.

The computer has broken all time constraints. What might have taken 100 years can now be accomplished in a day.
The sale of extension-cords suffered, shop tools will always be corded once you get past the 'hand tool classification. Perhaps that is the route you should go. manual screw-driver recharges all on it's own, and the more you use it the less often it need to be charged.
Throw the breaker at the vert top of the box that holds the breakers and get back to me in a week and let me know how it went.

I kind of doubt the Port of Vancouver is going to be getting American coal. It would require a massive American investment and I don't think they are going to do that because they already cannot compete with Australia in China. It would be a terrible investment.

Has been for years.

Looking forward to when my computer can lay a foundation and frame a house in a day.

Don't be so gawd dam cheap and buy a 3D printer.

Has been for years.

Port of Vancouver hasn't. They export sulfur from the oil sands.

Tswassen has the coal terminal.

I think it's great we are going full NG.

Whoever dies with the most coal wins!

No coal means no steel, nanotubes, carbon fibre, or graphite.

Are you still stuck on the brain fart that coal only supplies electrical power? But of course, you morons are only capable of one dimensional thinking.

Really? So how do you charge your rechargeable power tools?

No they aren't abandoning coal , there is nothing about shutting down coal mining . We will still see daily 150 cars coal trains rumbling through the Fraser Valley to the coal port at Roberts Bank .

There is strong demand for coal around the world. Hundreds of coal fired power plants are being built - with the aid of China's new international bank, which Canada joined and has contributed money to. The world bank refuses to loan money for coal fired power plants, you see, but the Chinese bank has no such problem.

So, my statement that advancements in computer tech won't be capable of framing a house in a day is correct then?
Sure, the parts arrive on a truck and a crane lifts them into place, all within a few hours.

I couldn't find one where the walls are laying flat on the truck. IKEA HOMES perhaps.

The future of rapid recharge energy for hand held, rechargeable tools

Good idea, perhaps a few on a e-car so it can charge the batteries while driving around town.
