Trump is symbolic of the decay and rot in the American Empire and its final days will be celebrated around the world. The bullying, the assassinations, the brutality will all stop in a final act of Karma... and Smack, his most cherished wet dreams shattered, will be found wrapped in the Yanky flag with a self inflicted gun shot wound to the head.

So what do you think of the communist regime in Venezuela starving its citizens ? Is that the fault of Trump and/or America ?

But how did it happen? First off the corrupt governments of the right backed up by
the interference of successive American Administrations created the atmosphere for
change and the the retribution came full circle. At one time the poor were denied a
vote at all and when they were granted a franchise they took their retribution and there
are more poor than middle class.
The country went from a privileged class the the masses unprepared for the aspects
of a true democracy and this is the result. If one is going to blame socialism and much
of the blame is valid one has to consider the economic colonialism that was imposed on
them by the United States decades before its a two way street but I do agree the place
is now a basket case

Dramatic video shot by citizens on the ground show tanks marked ‘GNB’ (the Venezuelan National Guard), with their roofs on fire, plowing through a crowd of protesters in the Venezuelan capital Caracas.

Laura Rangel, a journalist who captured the moment on film, told Reuters three protesters were injured, one of them seriously.

At least one person was caught underneath a vehicle, NBC News confirmed.

Pedro Michelle Yammine Escobar, 22, is in serious condition at the intensive care unit of a hospital after suffering a rib fracture and internal bleeding following the tank collision, Rangel told Reuters.

Hummmmm....Fortune and the WSJ pointing this out. Time to read The Shock Doctrine for all those who haven't.......

Goldman Sachs gives financial lifeline to the regime

The president of Venezuela's opposition-run Congress on Monday accused Wall Street investment bank Goldman Sachs of "aiding and abetting the country's dictatorial regime" following a report that it had bought $2.8 billion in bonds from the cash-strapped country.

The Wall Street Journal on Sunday said Goldman paid 31 cents on the dollar for bonds issued by state oil company PDVSA that mature in 2022, or around $865 million, citing five people familiar with the transaction.

That comes as two months of opposition protests against President Nicolas Maduro have killed almost 60 people and the collapse of the country's socialist economy has left millions of people struggling to eat.

"Goldman Sachs' financial lifeline to the regime will serve to strengthen the brutal repression unleashed against the hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans peacefully protesting for political change in the country," wrote Julio Borges in a letter to Goldman Sachs President Lloyd Blankfein.

"Given the unconstitutional nature of Nicolas Maduro's administration, its unwillingness to hold democratic elections and its systematic violation of human rights, I am dismayed that Goldman Sachs decided to enter this transaction."

Those bonds will quite probably be worth much more when the Venezuela overthrows their government.
