And therefore singularly appropriate to the usual suspects hereabouts. It's an ignorant misrepresentation to blame Trudeau and the Liberals for this.
It's an ignorant misrepresentation to blame Trudeau and the Liberals for this. It was a judicial decision, not a political decision, the executive branch of the government had nothing to do with it.
Poor poor baby.....
In some parts of the world 15 is old enough to get married and have children, and yes kill other people.....
Actually, you're wrong. A court cannot convict someone of an offense unless each element of the offense is proved beyond a reasonable doubt. An admission of guilt, if accepted by the court is the standard of proof required to establish a conviction. The court has the obligation to determine that the defendant fully understands the charge, terms, and sentence, and has option not to accept the guilty plea, and will not accept it if it does not meet strict parameters and is not agreed to by both the defense and prosecution. The fact that he admitted the killing to get transferred to another prison can not be construed as guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
You don't get it....your problem, not mine! And in some parts of the world, they don't have human rights legislation. What's your point?
It was a judicial decision to approve and accept the settlement that was agreed to by both the Government and the claimant. It was not a judicial decision for the Government to accept the settlement, it could have been rejected and brought before the court to determine the outcome. The decision to accept this deal was political. It's an ignorant misrepresentation to blame Trudeau and the Liberals for this. It was a judicial decision, not a political decision, the executive branch of the government had nothing to do with it.
