That's not perjury.
The fact is that Comey's "bombshell" testimony moved the puck not an inch in any direction. It "proved" what everybody already knew.
That Trump is a blowhard and neither understands nor wants to learn the "rules" for politics in DC, but that so far, there's no crime, even by the "extended" definition of "crime" we've been adopting lately.
Please spare me your opinion of whether Trump's approach is a good thing or not. With all due respect, I can't really be bothered to care what a center-right Canadian (or any other Canadian, frankly) thinks of it.

Comey was believable and is too smart to risk perjury. The spin folks in the WH are in full and over drive. They will take his words and spin them to mean what the Trump mob wants them to mean. Does not get much dirtier than that. The trump mod has no principles , integrity o r ethics and will stop at nothing to maintain their position. They are amazingly expert in creating "fake news"... by virtue of the spin factory.

Trump just said that as part of his "I am not a crook" bluster. If you watch the press conference in which he said he'd testify under oath, it was full of Trump yelling angrily, making defensive exaggerations and pretending he's a big man. More so than usual.
