Helluva a Game 7. Double OT. Both teams battling all game long. It was anyone's game as they both fought so hard. A real heart-breaker for Ottawa. They deserved to win as much as my Pens, but in the end Chris Kunitz found the back of Anderson's net and Pittsburgh is off to the Stanley Cup for the second year in a row. Well done, Pen. Well done, Sens - hold your heads high guys, you're one heck of a great team.

I don't believe Melnyc is the problem. He is the main reason Ottawa even still has a team.
Idiot reporters like Brennan might be though.

What astounded me was seeing so many empty seats in the Pittsburgh arena-all game not just after the period breaks; in particular 4 seats in a row in the corner to the right of the goalie just over the Duffin Donuts sign those would have gone for thousands apiece here in Vancouver probably the same in TO or Montreal.

Ottawa lost it in 2nd O.T. It just doesn't get any sadder than that! Oh well next year!

I really felt for them, JLM even though the Pens are my team and I wanted them to win, Ottawa just never gave up and but for that one goal in DOT, they may very well have been off to the Cup themselves. They played hard, fast and tight and Anderson ......well Anderson was just phenomenal in the net and after all that happened in his personal life this year, he deserved to advance. It was a really great season for the Senators and I expect that, unless management decides to screw around with the team, they will be right back at it next year.

You gotta back the Canadian based teams, American based teams have 320 million fans while we have 35 million. I do believe fans have a role, albeit possibly small in winning.

I hate you Mowich... But only pretend hate :)

Sorry Johnnny. I won't even say 'I told you so' because there was an even chance your Sens would make it to the Cup and I give then full credit for their run. There were wonderful........right up to the last goal in DOT.

No I don't. I have cheered for the Pens ever since Sid joined the team - he's my guy and I will back him and my team The Pittsburgh Penguins all the way through the Cup final until they once again hoist it far over their heads in triumph.
