I saw a replay of 60 Minutes interview with Comey, done in 2014, on his appointment as FBI Director. He's frankly impressive, independent and honourable.
If i was Trump and facing Democrat lynch mob justice, i'd much rather have a stand up guy in a critical investigative post, than some Republican flunkie, who'll be blown hither and thither by the political trade winds.
In any case Trump's shabby treatment of him predictably has whiplashed back on him; with many Republicans coming to the defense of Comey's character.

Didn't even take that long...now the elite media is losing their collective sh*t because Trump in his position of elite privilege gets 2 scoops of ice cream at dinner while everyone else only gets 1...and he gets thousand islands dressing on his salad instead of creamy vinaigrette served to his guests.
